Morraig is an inheritor of an ancient and proud bloodline. War wolves that will barely tolerate the touch of man gladly bear him into battle, accepting his weight and fighting to the death to defend him. He is a pragmatic warrior predestined to lead the Wolves of Orboros to war. Few can match his cleft sword, and the enraged wolf beneath him snaps at any who evade his blade’s edge.

Looks sort of Anime-ish.

I like it ... may make a good starting point for a Space Wolf Scout hero ??

A lot of PP models look anime-ish, that's not surprising.

Did someone say Space Wolf commander conversion?

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

From this angle it looks like he is riding a large, scared, rat!

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

I thought so too, but the 360 view looks better.

None too shabby! Just the sword lets it down a bit, as it just looks poorly balanced. I know it's an anal thing, but the rest is all good!

If I could find something to replace his blade, I'd be tempted! Wolf only looks rat like there because part of the head armour on the far side is showing through the gap in the canines. Mentally block that out and it looks cool.

Yeah... I probably would have spent a little more time working on the copy for this guy. The above bits are not so great...

Forever alone

That's not a wolf, it looks like a frigging rat. The man himself is pretty good, but he'd look better if he was more fierce-looking to match his steed.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

It would require a lot of work to make this model fit with the rich and innovative imagery of the Warhammer 40k universe.

For example you would have to add some skulls. And a backpack.

Actually that should just about do it.

That is exactly what I thought, before I even saw your post!! Have PP got Simon Bisley or Glenn Fabry designing miniatures now?

Look at that red nose! Totally Slaine!

There is a particular image I want to post. I think it is a Fabry one, but I can't find it online, and my Slaine books are back at my parents' house so I can't even scan, so here is a Bisley image instead, if Fortunecity have started allowing hotlinking....
