So, at long last my wife has finally forgiven me for buying a 3,000 point army all in a three week peroid a couple months back, sence then I've boughter a heck of a lot of make up, hair care and skin products, and I've resently gotten a rais at work so I decided to convinently ask if I could go ahead and buy ONE pice of warhammer this pay check, my wonderful glowing wife smiled and said "Of course Babby".

Alright so I've got a free pass but I don't want to waste it, I want to get a model that will satisfy me for atleast a month. So I'm going to take advantage of the situation and the fact that she has no idea what a super heavy is or how much they cost and get one but here is my question to all of you, I am running a chaos army that is heavy on infantry, moderate on eleits and heavy support and very light on fast attack.

So what should I get? The Baneblade the Stormsword or should I build my own brass scorpion out of 2 defiler kits?

I know I'm going to make the brass scorpion eventually but I don't know if it's the best thing for me right now.
Everyone that I know that has a baneblade sings it's prases.
And the stromsword looks the coolist in my opinion and is the most versitile.

So these are my opinions and I'm wracking my mind trying to decide, what are your opinions?

I'd get the Stormsword. Throw the Vulkan Mega-bolter on there. Awesome!

Get the stormsword man.

Lots of variety, and with a bit of cleveryknowwots, you should be able to swap the barrells about willy nilly.

Baneblade is the most generally useful Super-Heavy and has enough guns of various types to avoid being a really expensive HB/Lascannon platform once the main gun gets ganked.

Baneblade is clearly your best choice for general utility.

The only other option would be a StormLord for a mega-transport.

OK, so you got permission for a superheavy. You either are massively deluded or are ready to man-up and take your upcoming nights on the couch without cryin about it. Either way is the same on this side of the wireless.

How's about takin the FW plunge and pickin up that Warhound or T-hawk?

you should get a chaos warhound from forge world.

Alright! I have decided, I agrey with all of you. And I've always known I would be making atleast one brass scorpion eventually, so what ill do is goto gw on Tuesday and if they have 2 defiler boxes then I'll make the scorpion, it is the coolist looking and you've gotta love that 12" charge and the +2 to the blast roll, plus it will keep me busy for a week atleast just to build it. But if they don't have that I'll get the stormlord cause 40 zerkers, or 20 terminators in a super heavy that has 16 heavy bolter shots, sounds just to good to pass up. Thank you everyone!

Not actually. I am on a Dutch construction vessel that is currently operating in the Gulf of Mexico. I am about 200 miles south of New Orleans at the moment. However, Dutch boat with satellite net that downlinks in Rotterdam. So I appear to be in downtown Amsterdam, shopping in the red light district and touring Ann Frank's house wondering if she really DID like her sister a bit too much.

And as far as your brAss scorpion, whenever I look at it it still screams "Head Down! Ass Up!" at me. God....

I would get the Stormsword. Mainly because of the fact that you get a volcano cannon or was it called something else if it is can you tell me. Anyway the Stormsword in my opinion. =]

Hey all I just wanted to let you know that sence gw decided to be closed on mon and tues I gor ancy and didn't get any of them insted I built my own tower of skulls and dooms day device they look fantastic!! I'm going to make a new post and show pics.

no no, get the stormsword box set, send me the vulcan mega-bolter and use the kit as one of the other bandblade alternatives.

I'd say Baneblade. It's probably the most versatile in games, and it's just plain awesome.

Hmm, not too familiar with the brass scorpion.

Stormsword if you magnetize it correctly you can move between the big Gatling gun and the D cannon
