What the title says, according to WD 357 there should be two new models coming out in September along with a pack of those three classic OOP tank commanders and a pack with two sprues of hamfisted Aquilas.

Anybody got anything on this?

tank crew? They're probably the models I've had in my bits box for the last decade.

Yep, these would be the metal guys from the old Demolisher and OOP Exterminator. Not sure about the 3rd, but assuming he's from the old Hellhound.

No, you are reading it wrong. Yes the three old OOP commanders are coming out alongside two NEW commanders. That's what I'm interested in.

Argh, whoever took that picture is an donkey-cave, as the text is the important part of it: "Hot on the trail of last month's Bitz Packs bonanza we've got even more coming your way. The first is the Imperial Crew pack. In this set are three classic metal crewmen. The other pack is a set of Imperial Aquilas. Not only that, but there are two fantastic new Imperial Guard tank crewmen out this month, exclusively available to order."

text is easier to reproduce though.

Personally I was hoping for more info on the separate guard heads.

could this be the "tank ace" model or possibly even Pask? either way its not that big a deal so lets wait and see.

I think if it was specifically Pask they would have said so since that makes it more of a selling point than "2 new crewman".

I dunno Brook. For all we know, it's the 2 OOP IG Crewmen on foot, now available for order.

An Aquila pack? That's... odd.

And the tank Commanders? I'm guessing that it'll be the Exterminator one and the one who's sort of arching his arm, plus the original Demolisher commander pictured above.

Heh, I remember back in 2nd Ed when they were trailing
'Tank Commanders' for the original Guard Codex. IIRC they didn't make it into the actual Codex, but the test rules were in WD. You could give them a single Wargear Card. It was fun to give one a Vortex Grenade and surprise people who tried to get close.

No, I am keeping my hopes up for two new sculpts, they could very well be the two first additions to the Collectors Range for the Imperial Guard. Les Grognards really are a bunch of whining pessimists.

As for the crew on foot, there were three of those.

I'm not whining or being pessimistic, I'm just saying what I think they'll be based upon the evidence at hand, such as "Imperial Guard players will welcome the return of some classic crewmen for their tanks.", emphasis mine. I think speculating any further would be a bit strange, especially given what's been written above.

As for the crewmen, well it says 'new', so we can assume that means 'new'.

No whining here...

Do they still do the pack of IG tank crew who have escaped a vehicle, there were a set of three all with laspistols.

No, one had a las carbine.

I've seen the NA trade list , and basically every thing that is coming out in Sept other than SH is Direct only.

I think Hawker and th ethe other IG guy will be just like Khan and Vulcan... Direct only.

Oohh... Maybe we're getting the OOP tank *riders* re-released, and one of them will actually be sandbags.

Well I´m already sold to Pig Iron and Westwind´s heads so I wont lose any sleep over it but it would have been a nice novelty on GW´s part.

When they said "classic tank crewmen" they weren't kidding. I have the crewman pictured above on a tank I built in 2003 and even then I'd had that crewman model sitting around in my bitz box for quite some time.

I have several of the older IG tank crew metal models sitting around and I was recenlty thinking about sticking them on eBay as I only use plastic these days with rare exception. It will be interesting to see what these cost when they are re-released.

Unless you do as my friend did, and equip the Tank itself with a Vortex Detonator, which lead to several bemused Space Marine Scouts pondering a round of applause, and a curse of 'Arses' from the friend. Thankfully, the sort of lesson you learn first time around. Sadly, the same friend took a couple of more tries, another 'Arses' and a 'Not again' before he remembered the radius of the Vortex Detonators affect....

The thought did cross my mind. I remember the first time I saw a Vortex Detonator in action. An Eldar Exarch was running towards a Demolisher, Vortex Grenade in hand and then --zzzzappp-- no more Exarch. The owner of the Demolisher was quite happy.
