When are the Daemon Hunters getting a new codex/release

Daemon hunters are easily the most neglected army, and $95 for five terminators doesn't help in poularity so I thought I would like to see what peple think of the servants of the Inquisition.

Where the hell are you getting hosed that much for the Terminators? They are still $55 for the box at my FLGS...

Grey Knight Terminators Mattlov. And he's in Australia, so the price is in Australian.

And we don't want a new Codex. All a new Codex will do will take all the non-Grey Knight things away and Jervisify whatever's left.

@Shaman: of course, they won't combine Inquisition armies. Sisters will return to being a standalone army, leaving Inquisition to feature all of the miscellaneous one-off whatnots like DCA, GKTs, PAGKs, IAs, ISTs, and so on.

thats not true. The Grey Knight Hero can have any equipment from the armory. So you CAN buy power armor for your Grey Knight hero if you really feel like it.

He can only buy things that are available for models in Terminator Armour. Power Armour isn't available for models in Terminator armour.

Not that it'll matter soon anyway as there won't be an armoury. You'll just automatically come with Generic Incense and a Grimoire of Generic Daemons.

DHs don't need an update very badly. Mebbe a couple of plastic models, and anti Chaos things that are still valid, but that is about it.

You are assuming that all Grey Knights captains don't become the special character Brother Captain Stern. Greater and lesser Grey knights FTW!

A whole codex in three entrys (two if which are in the appendix and the other's a special character).

Somewhere around this forum there was a quotation where Phail Kelly said he was starting work on the DH codex after he finished the SW codex. HMMMM. Hope it's an improvement over hte old one.

I meant Grey Knight Termies. I have something in the range of 30 of them myself. The price threw me, I didn't notice he/she/it was an Aussie.

Probably true, unfortunately. At this point, an updated WD PDF codex might be better.

Last rumors placed Phil "I just Finished Writing Space Wolves" Kelly as to now (well, at least now, then) writing GK. Rumors had GK with access to more "normal" SM gear such as jump packs and at least plastic for PAGK. No hints as to if any Inquisitional forces would be in said codex.

I hear that they are going to redo the codexes for the Inquisition in the next year and a half, and add on a third codex, the Xeno Hunters. But this is all hearsay, and I can't confirm any of it. But the DHs do need a new codex, I see them get overwhelmed all the time.

Alien Hunters was scrapped years ago; it is never coming. Grey Knights and Sisters are both in the works, but are not coming too soon.
