I use the kitchen table (cheap, but effective), for most of my games (which are around 1500 pts). The table being a bout 3x7 feet.

I play on 4X6 at home but in my gaming club we play on 4X8.
I find that if you go under 4X6 the table tends to get crammed.

At my FLGW we have 17 4x6 tables and 4 4x8 boards. You should see it when they are all put together! Ive only seen it once, and it had to be in a horseshoe 16feet deep, and 30 feet long, extreme goofyness ensued.

Always 4x6 feet,
also for larger games up to 2500 pts.

We have a 4'x8' table at my buddies place where a few of us gather regularily. Normally we just play 4'x6' and leave the last 2 feet for random stuff like guys waiting in reserve, books and casualties.

I've got 2 2x6 collapsible tables pushed together. I'm thinking of getting a couple more(they're running about $47 or so at Lowe's, at least they were a few days ago).

I have a 4x6 table at home. PLay anything 1500 and above there. At 3K for apoc I have another 6x4 that we put together to make 8x6.
At our LGS we have one 8x4 that we split to 2 4 by 4... a 6 by 4 and another 4 by 4. But we never play more than 1250 on the 4 by 4's. It gets crammed way to quickly.

4'x6', plywood top with 1x2s used as a support structure underneath. Thinking of making another, too!
