The ones around here are sold out, which is a shame, as I now have the money to pick one up.

All of the GW's near to me have sold out, so I was glad to have pre-ordered mine.

I have seen them going for over £90 on Ebay, so it may be worth grabing a copy to sell on?

I have a spare one in the boot of my car (hidden from the eyes of the missus) which I got when I thought GW had messed up my order. They didn't so it will probably go by way of ebay.

In UK, some stores have sold out but got more stock from those that didn't. I reckon it will be all but gone by Christmas.

Yes, not selling my spare until they get up to £200.00

And then they will have to collect it from me and open it to make sure everything's there. Not putting up with any of this "the blood chalice is missing, I want my money back" nonsense.

Problem is, how many people have bought it with the intention of selling it on? It may be a long time waiting for it to get to £200.

Seriously guys, have a look at how much they are going for on Ebay, grab one or two copies and get selling, even though there are copies in stores it is amazing the premiums people will pay so that they can have goods sent to their door

As for people claiming that they haven't recieved it from you, just send it recorded and state clearly that what they see is what they get, if something is missing from inside the box they can take that up with GW themselves, they are bound to have spares knocking about to cover this.

same here (plenty of local copies). i have to restrain myself from posting in space hulk gouging sale threads that they're not sold out YET. same thing for the guy trying to sell the racing nob for $80+ USD because it's "going" for $100 on ebay... except that they ONLY one that has actually sold in the past 4 months went for around $45. the ones for $100+ (including two of his own auctions) aren't going anywhere, they're just sitting there.

Technically, it is 'Sold Out', from the manufacturer. A store could not order more from GW direct. I know the couple of GW shops in my area had a large shipment of them, and still have them left.

I ordered very heavy, and as I've been direct with GW for a couple of decades, could get a good amount of them in. Sales were about what I expected, and my target was to have a couple dozen left as we entered the Christmas season. As of today we have about 30 left, so right on target. If you're near Philadelphia, it's not sold out and you can pick them up at orginial retail, either from my shops or the two GW shops.

The problem is, he keeps posting the Nob without lowering the price....

And so, due to rising costs of maintaining the Golden Throne, the Emperor's finest accountants spoke to the Demigurg. A deal was forged in blood and extensive paperwork for a sub-prime mortgage with a 5/1 ARM on the Imperial Palace. And lo, in the following years the housing market did tumble and the rate skyrocketed leaving the Emperor's coffers bare. A dark time has begun for the Imperium, the tithes can not keep up with the balloon payments and the Imperial Palace and its contents, including the Golden Throne, have fallen into foreclosure. With an impending auction on the horizon mankind holds its breath as it waits to see who will gain possession of the corpse-god and thus, the fate of humanity......

My local FLGS has a few, but he's already marked them up to $150.

I'm sure the speculators will do ok, but unless you got it at a discount, you really won't be making much. Selling a $100 item for $150 nets the ebay seller around $35-$40 after fees, which isn't bad for quick work but not exactly enough to retire on.

I've never understood that. You'd think the slow bleed from listing fees would add up over time.

The GW store I go to has alot of Space Hulk still on display. At least between 5-10 boxes on display at the very front of the shop. They still run demos but I do not see anyone walking out with a box.

A new day, a new time zone.

As I've said before, I think aside from a few rogue boxes lurking in occasional stores, we're going to see the rest of the SH stock sell off around the holidays.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

It is sold out in GW UK stores, though maybe not elsewhere.

I had a copy reserved for me, part of an overstock from another one man store with low footfall. The bonus copies got snapped up in two days. This was about three weeks ago, since then there have been plenty of phone rounds for copies.

I couldnt pay for mine because of a discrepancy with the phone company, the scum wanted to charge me 400GBP for changing supplier, plus VAT. A few phone calls later and they backed down but in the meantime I could no afford 60 for Hulk and had to keep what money I had aside. The manager at my local GW store kept a copy back for me.

When I collected it last week I was told it was the last unsold copy in the country according to the company inventory systems. The manager was fighting requests daily for it, nice chap, did me a big favour.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

Many US GW stores still have copies and so do some independents. Some independents are dumping them on eBay to get rid of them quicker. GW it seems should have continued selling it online for a while to reduce stocks. I do know of one store where someone bought about 40 copies, I'm guessing as an investment for when it's a lot harder to find on eBay. There will be people who want this game 6 months or more down the road who can't find it and then the value will go up, especially as time goes by and listings on auction sites become increasingly rare.

All of ours were sold out in a week or two. Luckily, I managed to get the last copy the store had. Dodged a bullet, there!
