I'm having problems with Mark of the Wulfen. There are virtually no SM arms with hands that are not holding guns or swords, or at least have the same shape. Looking for a clawed type hand that would fit on an SM model.

I'm not going to buy Wulfen models because they are stupid expensive on E-bay.

So, any suggestions on what I might use to kitbash?

Try the arms from either Beasts of Chaos Gors or Ungors. Gors are a bit bigger so they might work better. They have clawed hands, but are holding weapons, so I don't know if they'll suit your needs.

Skaven hands also work, I like the ones with the Wolvarine Claws

you could give him a collar and have a chain draped down his back from the collar, like he was chained to a post like a guard dog.
Or another idea would be having shackles on his arms and having clenched fists, kinda like king kong.

I would make mine look like his just dropped his weapons with rage and is about the roar. could work (because you could use the fisted hands in that case)

I was heading in the direction Gutteridge suggested. In the end, I settled for having one GH waving his chainsword in the air (vice the rest with just bolters) and I painted him to look covered in gore.

Posted this in another thread a few days ago, but still applies.

I read an article that mentioned that genestealers have some pretty interesting looking hands that can be wolfed up to represent the "teeth and claws" attacks caused by the marked model.

Hmm, I got lazy.

So using just the Space Wolf box, I put together all the bits that had the most hair/pelts on it together. Makes the guy look really fuzzy.

He will also be the only guy holding two CCWs. Chain sword and axe. Actually looks a little like the guy on the cover of the codex.

I like the look of these. Are these beastmen heads? I've seen some nice conversions done with orc heads and Genestealer claws, as previously mentioned. It also seems that ghoul hands may do the trick if wolfed up a bit w/ green stuff.

I've gone a much simpler method, which doesn't require careful conversion, and allows me to show Wulfen with certain weapon types. Under the description on Bram Redmaw's Greact Company, they say that the Sign of the Bloodied Hunter is closely associated with those cursed by the Mark of the Wulfen - or words to that effect.

Therefore, I represent those with the Mark of the Wulfen with red warpaint (that's what they claim, anyways...) around the mouth and chin, staining the beard if appropriate. Where possible, I've also given them several combat weapons and put them in brutal stances.

I also intend to represent it in some way in the armour scheme - most likely their left shoulder-pad will have a red instead of a blue-grey field.

anyone agree before i go buy some skaven heads??

wouldn't ghoul hands be a bit too big?

I wouldn't bother changing just the hands - fluffwise, it seems more likely that either:
- he can still fit into his old armour including the gauntlets
- or his arms have gone bestial and swollen and so none of his arm armour will fit any more - so you'd replace the whole arms with something appropriately hairy and bestial, probably from the WHFB range, Beastmen and Skaven being obvious possibilities.

I'd probably go for a mixture, similarly with headswaps, I see the Curse as a random thing that would affect every sufferer slightly differently

I have one of my Wolf guard have mark of the wulfen on him, and what did was give him two lightning claws from my friends chaos set and then added greenstuff fur and ears to him
When i did the ears i made them bigger and retardo looking. So when it hardened i could just clip them to the size i wanted.

Not really much point digging up the old thread after two years. If the people asking in that thread haven't found their solution by now, they've most likely moved on.
