Finally got around to watching Madoka Magica : Rebellion

Absolutely gorgeous film, but also really tragic.

Guys, is it weird I cant to build gundams, but not want anything to do with the anime cause They all seem lackluster?

But srsly build the models if you like the look of them. I love Gunpla kits, and have been eyeing a perfect grade kit recently.

Be careful on that kit. Depending on which one you buy you'll end up with a piece of garbage. There were a few Master Grade kits released within the past few years that aren't bad, and the Ver. Ka kit is decent, but anything older and anything that's 1/100 but isn't a MG is garbage.

Turns out Shinji in Japanese is not as annoying as everyone keeps saying. He's actually less irritating than his successors (you know, the weak 14 male character, like Ganta Igarashi and Yuki Amano)

I've never watched it in anything other then Japanese. In Japanese he's still an annoying crybaby only rivaled by Shinn Asuka from Gundam Seed Destiny...

Oh, don't get me wrong, he is an introverted sadsack with the mother of all daddy issues. Like everyone in the show, he has his share of psychological problems.

Its just that unlike Yuki and Ganta, I have not yet received the urge to slap his trauma out of him, just like Patton would have done.

Didn't the USA in real life try opting for Japan to show more military force to curb China's expansion in fairly recent times? This show seems like it's trying to ruin people agreeing with that decision. Not that I'd mind. It's been 70+ years since WWII and things have changed. Most of the people that did any atrocity in WWII are probably dead one way or another. It also isn't cool to blame the sins of the father on the son in a sense and they seem to have changed somewhat.

While I agree sins of the father isn't a good thing, the modern Japanese government has repeatedly whitewashed and even outright denied the warcrimes of Imperial Japan ever took place.

Yeah, I noticed that too.

They pretty much declared war.

If it were just the Jade Palace they would have had justification for using lethal force, as the Jade Palace counts as Japanese territory, but Bassoon was deep in the capital.

Welp, Erased was being amazing, but after the latest episode? Hard to describe how good it is, and we have one last episode to tie it all up ... no idea how they'll be able to, but if it's with the same quality we had so far, it's gonna be awesome.

Konosuba is already over but at least a 2nd season has been already confirmed! HURRAY! I can always use more of this kind of quality comedy anime, 10 eps was such a small number, but at least each and every one of them was amazing

Just got done with "another" best way to describe it? Anime Slasher movie.
Doing Trigun now cause i just realizeds, i never actually watched it. just half watched it during Adult Swim.

Grimgar's been heating up for those of you who dropped it. They did an "instance raid" several episodes ago, and now they're hitting heavier monsters inside a mine. Was still a down time episode between those, but it's hitting the fan again.

I dropped it a while ago. it was just soo.... unnessicarily emotional

I'd gauge most anime could be called unnecessarily emotional

Grimgar's still leaning heavy on the emotion. Their little dungeon raid is against the group of goblins that killed their priest. The mine they're going into next is where their new priest's former party was killed.

I might give it another go, but it just seemed sooo boring. I can deal with emotions but there still needs to be something to keep me there besides pretty animation.

I've been dragging myself through Fairy Tail... I don't think I'm ever going to pick up another shonen series if I don't get in within the first season or so.

Also Iron Blooded Orphans is shaping up to be a mediocre 25 episode series, we'll see how the next 25 episodes drive it to good or bad.

Also Haikyuu and Durarara are ending quite nicely.

So now i just got done watching Prison School. my god was that fun, and i normally.

So, question, how was 7 deadly sins rated by dakka's anime crowd? I thoroughly enjoyed it, but wanted to hear the opinions of others. Figured it was a good time to ask, 2nd season on netflix sometime this year I heard? (Anything firm on that date by the way?)

I liked it. Looking forward to the next season.

It's one of the better shoenen battle series out there. I thoroughly enjoyed the series and I've been reading the manga for a few months now.

I would say it's better than practically every other battle series out currently out there. Naruto is has no reason for the filler, One Piece is too long to really get into it now, and Dragonball Super has garbage animation. But 7 Deadly Sins is short atm, good animation, and fun characters.

I recommend it to pretty much everyone that's not an anime fan but is looking for one. Granted I recommend One Punch Man first, if they liked that then I recommend 7DS.

I really liked 7 deadly sins too. Looking forward to the next season.

I am liking it...just too much unnecessay fanservice.
And the fact that the death count is actually really low.
