So, I've seen love, and hate, for nearly every transport in this game so far, what's your favorite? It could be anything, from the Looted Wagon to the Land raider. It can be fast, dedicated, heavy support, fast attack, as long as it carries models, you can vote for it, most people are probably going to have more than one, but pick your 'most favorite' of the list.

Being a primarily Ork player, gonna say the Trukk, cause of its ramshackle, yet bloody fast nature that's so in keeping with the Orks, even if it can get shot down by bolterfire. Plus the Ramshackle rules are funny.

But I voted Drop pods for the pure imagery.

Twin linked lascannon razorback for me, it's the only way to go.

I personally love my battlewagon, although I will say that A trukk carrying a big mek has the exact same annoyance level for how hard it can be to kill (by the time they can hit it with bolters I am in their face and charging them!)

Well, the Wave Serpent is the best transport in the game.
Its fast, has a decent twin-linked weapon that can be fired if it moves 12'', and it has an energy fields,
which is a life saver against strong shooting weapons.

I gotta agree with Vendettas. Where else can you find effectively a predator annihilator that is fast, has a transport capacity, can deepstrike, is a skimmer, is completely twin linked, can have added on heavy bolters, and one less front armour value for LESS points...

No other transport can deliver that kind of anti tank for the points.

But I also love my razorback... assault cannons/Lascannons FTW!

I see im the only one who has voted Looted Wagon. I'm surprised, i thought more people would love the great modelling opportunities and great results involved. Much prefer BW for gaming purposes but looted wagons get my vote!!

The Guard Chimera does exactly what I need it to: Its relatively cheap (for having both a turret and hull weapon) and has front armor 12: therefore I can stack them into a row and make a pretty effective "wall" with leman russes on the flanks. That list hates deepstrikers, but it can neutralize many tough nuts to crack with ease.

Gotta love Chimeras. Not the light tank it should/could be but for 55pts or so you get room for 12 a nice multilaser a heavy flamer for close support work and front AV 12.

I like Vendettas as well, anti armour troop carrying goodness.

I voted for the Wave Serpent, simply because I think the model is very nice, and I like that it is a bit different then other transports (because it has the Energy Field).

When talking about a transport that gives you the most value for it's points, the Wave Serpent is not even near the top. Vendetta's (or Valkyries), Chimera's, Raiders and Rhino's are currently the best transports in the game.

I love drop pods purely because its so cool to have 5 drop pods slam down onto the table in one turn. I love them

I would say either Valkyries or Wave Serpents, although my vote did go for Wave Serpents: They can move 12", then Turbo-Boost, then use Star-Engines to move a total of 42" in one turn!! Along with the Energy Field, a generous transport capacity and a wide array of weapons, I think this makes it a very versitile transport.

Gotta go with the battlewagon. AV 14 that moves an inch farther than yours and costs 50-60 points less with some decent additions? And there's 20 boyz inside? Not sure why i would want anything else.

I voted for the Immolator, of course I played one for the first time today on the table top, loaded up with Vulkan, and 5 Celestians(1 Flamer, 1 Heavy Flamer, 2 boltguns and Plas Pistol/Power Weapon) this little detachment accounted for 20 Dead necrons in two turns(the Veteran sister killing 3 warriors in the final close combat, sweeping the last of them up handly). of course the real reason this worked was because of the Immolators ability to move 12" and still fire its Twin Linked Heavy Flamers, adding it to the units over all nasty-ness. its a little more expensive than a razorback or rhino, but I can't think of a better way to get my very killy 6 man squad into flamer range, and when there it can support them, nothing like the smell of burnt Xeno and Heretic in the morning love the moblie main weapon template

I voted for the Chimera, but my vote could go to either the Rhino or the Chimera. Both are so cheap and effective that they fit well into any army and leave plenty of room for more. They are a transport that would work for many other armies as well and seem to be the basis vehicles are judged off of.
