What are you talking about? Just look at those staple boxes!

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Good god, who was your tau player? Deepstriking 6 suits right into the middle of a tyranid force? 48 fire warriors with no devilfish support?

lol thanks everyone for checking this out and yes those are my toes you see.

we need to purchase more terrain I agree. But that's only a handicap for my army so it's cool i've also played many games using NO terrain versus gunlines just to see how bad it would be and to practice forcing my way through.

Oddly enough I win more often in these 'no terrain' games.

Nice report-I enjoyed the way it was told.

"And what are the achievements of your fragile Imperium? It is a corpse rotting slowly from within while maggots writhe in its belly. It was built with the toil of heroes and giants, and now it is inhabited by frightened weaklings to whom the glories of those times are half-forgotten legends."

@Tyranid Horde: Some people are players, not painters. I am the exact opposite, but I understand the opposing viewpoint.

Always interesting seeing your batreps, Akaiyou. There are always interesting and clear on what is happening, making for a fast read-through! Now if only the models were fully painted, these would be beautiful batreps

good report, but I wanna echo earlier sentiments... Running terrain by the book always leaves much to be desired on the playing field, I reckon it needs more terrain

Yup it is true. Swarms cannot score. The only way you could have won is by completely destroying the opponent. Was that done? I can't tell by your last pictures.

Way above you guys

Cool once again, a tau player misunderstood the importance of running away. He let the nids move straight up to his edge and own him in CC. Nice paintwork you have. All very neutral...

Good report, you need to get cracking with some paint though!

We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

Swarms cant hold objectives. but the tau couldnt have won becus it went past 5 turns... when was it soposed to end?

How were the ripper swarms working without a synaps creature within 12'' of them? carnafexes dont have synaps.

and I dont think the rippers were allowed to be within 2'' of the carnefex, due to coherency

over all good battle!

I dont have my nids book in front of me and its been a long time since i've played them, but i dont remember ripper swarms needing synapse, due to them being mindless swarms anyways. BTW i really hope that was a joke bug list, but very nice batrep was fun to look at.

1. Anything fearless doesnt need synapse.

2. Since when do we need to keep ANY distance from our own troops?? The only restriction other than (you can't stack models on top of each other's heads) is that you have to stay 1" away from ENEMY models.

3. The tau weren't going to be able to hold me back regardless i was going to get there one way or another however i came to the game expecting to force a draw at the very least which wasn't going to be hard to do at all, and i ended up winning as i originally intended by wiping them out.

Rippers are pretty strong their only downfall is not being scoring.
