The new Mega-paint set and the new White Dwarf Subscription model are both released Oct. 31.

Mega-paint set description:
"This year it has been relaunched as a limited release and packed in its own custom Figure Case. The set includes all the paints we make - you get all 40 of the Citadel Colour paints, and 18 Foundations Paints and eight Washes. You also get PVA Glue, sand, various types of static grass and one of each of our paintbrushes."

I already have a White Dwarf subscription and I'll definitely be buying the new "Squat version" of the subscription model. Very humorous.

I do love that Mini, I don't really like WD much these days but a subscription could be forthcoming!

And have stated on these boards that my significant other has been told to get the Mega paint set for me for Chrimbo.

Will be getting the Mega Paint Set fairly soon. Whenever I sit down to paint, I always seem to need a colour I don't have. Hopefully, buying this bad boy will solve that particular situation for ever more, as I just need to keep track of whats run out and replace as I go. Hurrah!

Wow. I thought that there were many more than that...

I'd really like that dwarf. No doubt they'll going going for a fortune on eBay.

I think there are 40 'regular' colors, then there are metallics, Foundation, washes... and maybe something else?

Well there used to be a lot more colors but they've been cancelling them over the years.

The foundation paints have somewhat compensated for that but there are a few nice colors that you have to go to VGC for now.

I have the original Mega Paint Set, and it is great to sit down, reach into the case, and pull out any colour you may "ever" need.

However, as your painting skills improve, I've found that the Citadel colours leave alot to be desired! Such that I've now seriously turned to other companies to get my liquid colour.

I don't think I'll look twice at this new set.....

Does anyone know if the MegaPaintSet comes with foam trays? Like the MegaTool case? I didn't like the tool case foam and I don't think foam's a very convienent way to organise paints.

Or does it have plastic trays designed to hold paints like the old aluminum case mega paint set released a few years ago? those trays are quite good.

Ironically GW could make some good money just selling the thing, rather than pissing around attaching it to the White Dwarf subscription.

But that wouldn't encourage people to take out a subscription in order to get it...

If we get WD subscription , are we only limited to ordering 1 miniature? or can we order more aslong as we are subscribed?

Only one model, unless you plan on making up new identities and getting them subscriptions.
