The idea popped into my head last night. I could see 40k action figures being released to tie in with the video games or the Ultramarines movie. They'd be sorta cool as collectables if they were done well. Would you buy them? And what figures would you most like to see?

I could see them selling, not as true action figures but rather as collectibles, much like the Halo figures, which I, admittedly, grabbed as soon as I could.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

I would buy some if they were decent quality. Not for action figures like Cheese said but just to collect them.

A while ago there were 3.5" statues of Space Marines that I saw on the shelves of hobby shops. I don't remember if they sold well or not. Was a few years ago.

I'd definitely buy a Marine action figure or two for my desk.

Maybe not action figures, but decent size statues/figurines of some of the special chars would be cool.

I don't know how well the 3.5" statues sold in gaming stores but they go for quite a bit on ebay.

Id probobly pick one up if the price was right. I would imagine the first one made would be an Ultramarine, maybe even the first ten of them.

The old statues that used to sell at hobby stores and toy stores are pretty cool. They sell pretty well on ebay as well

I reckon that GW should do a second 40k movie that doesn't go straight to DVD,then action figures might work.

Aren't the 3.5" minis you guys are talking about Inquistor minis? That sounds about the right size... I never bought any... too much for my pocket at the time... but that would explain seeing them in hobby stores...

Well, I can see action figures coming out for 40k, just not the movie. If 'Ultramarine, The Game' is any good, then we will get action figs.

Sooo...there's a market for toy soldier replicas of our toy soldier replicas?

I'm not like them, but I can pretend.
