Hey, has anyone heard anything about what's out next for 40k after Tyranids?

I realize its pretty far off as I heard that Beasts of Chaos are after 'nids, and Im sure they'll release something LotR.

Wood Elves after Beast of Chaos

For 40k doesn't it go, Marine, Xeno, Marine, Xeno..... etc?

But on topic, from what information I have gathered from here Dakka and from Warseer, the rumors say that 2010 would be Tyranids, Beasts (both confirmed to be true), Blood Angels, Tomb Kings and Necrons (in random order if at all).

I hope they update the Necron, Witch Hunters, Deamon Hunters and Dark Eldar Codex's soon.

First comes tyranids.
Then Blood Angels.
After that is becomes hazy as even the studio don't know the final release schedule >6 months out, as they are working on several projects at once.... BUT a xenos race not listed above is almost complete for its 5th ed release....

Would this be a pointy eared xenos race, or a manga-loving xenos race?

I heard from a guy, who heard from a friend, who delivered stuff to GW and saw them play testing Tau....

Well, the rumors at Warseer and B&C say that there will be a third codex besides Nids and BA next year.
BA is not yet confirmed to be released in March, it could be later like August.
The third codex could be Tau or Eldar,
while DE and Necrons have been postponed.

Now as a tau player i can't help but be happy for a new dex, still i also can't help but hate GW for the obvious DE hate they've got going on, bad form JJ.
Either support them or drop the race just giving them hopes year after year is plain wrong.

I have heard nothing about Wood Elves.

40K is Tyranids and Blood Angels, with an unconfirmed possibility (ie there may only be two releases) of a third release, which is heavily rumoured to be Marines.

Fantasy is Beasts of Chaos, a summer campaign and possibly a new edition of the rules. Tomb Kings are coming, but I do not believe are confirmed to be definitely the next after Beasts.

The next 40K Codex after Nid's is the Chaos Space Marines...

But yeah, as popular rumour goes, it'll be blood angels next...

DE have been delayed due to modeling issues.

Remember Jes Goodwin is essentially doing the whole DE range himself.
He is the epitome of awesome, but let him do it right, rather than rushed.
And good work to GW for giving him the time to get it right.

Because I'm fairly convinced that they will be 82.39% less awesome than they are now, and that's even with all of the rules issues and outdated stuff in them too...

The warriors were done well over 6 months ago, the rest are new in the last few months. More models are being done, which is why it is delayed.

I'm still ok with my witch hunters.....Can I beat all the shiny new codex's no....do space wolves have better anti psychers (rune priests) yes....

But I still have fun playing my girls and they are just quirky enough that i manage to pull some wins out...I'm not in a hurry for them to redo the codex but some plastic non-direct order models would be kick ass
