If they teamed with the christian co. we wouldn't be able to eat anything fun at all.
ZING!
And whilst you're pointing and shouting at the boogeyman in the corner, you're missing the burglar coming in through the window.
Well, Duh! Because they had a giant Mining ship. If you had a giant mining ship you would drill holes in everything too, before you'd destory it with a black hole

PETA are so good at making vegetarians look bad I can't help but wonder if they're a secret organisation set up by the meat industry. Watching that ad I want to eat more meat just to spite them.
EDIT - How are they aligned to the Democrats? They're kind of left wing, in that vegetarianism is more common among the hippie crowd and left aligned portion of the middle class, but there isn't a relevant vegetarian faction of the Democrats or anything, is there? Does PETA even give money to either of the parties?

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

PETA aren't separating me and my delicious turkey.
People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

That is one of the dumbest things i have ever seen. It's late here in England, I'm drinking lots of coffee and I really feel sorry for the Americans that have to watch bullcrap like that. Seriously what ever next. Has anyone asked how a carrot feels about being stripped of all its skin, chopped into tiny pieces and then boiled for 10-20minutes?
Next time veggies you think on that...

It can't be a liberal made commercial.....the little girl mentioned "God".
PETA actually gets very little respect. I think the only ones that give a damn about PETA are celebs looking to "feel like they are supporting an important cause".
--The whole concept of government granted and government regulated 'permits' and the accompanying government mandate for government approved firearms 'training' prior to being blessed by government with the privilege to carry arms in a government approved and regulated manner, flies directly in the face of the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.

So Obama isn't a liberal? He talks about God all the time.

PETA, like most extreme groups, are motivated primarily by the desire to feel morally superior.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

I am fine with chemicals, dirt and poop in my murdered dead animals. Those growth hormones and antibiotics that they pump into the animals are the reason Americans are so strong and vital. So we can beat the terrorists. PETA can gather up with the ALCU and Greenpeace and Phish and drive off a fething cliff!!! More meat!!!

well, unfortunately that's true
the only reason why we don't care is because we don't have to see them getting tortured, that's why i support organic and freerange meat/eggs
...no reason to go vegan though...

This Is kind graphic do not read on if your easily offended
I remember this time me and my school were on a field to sacromento and we saw peta mamber while we were eating burgers. One of them was NUDE(she was a chick). The nude girl came up and lectured use on how eating meat was BAD. My friend then said and i swear "ill stop eating this burger if i can have some pie"
Then when the lady turned to her friend and we dashed out of there. we ran all the way across the mall in five minutes and hid in the Comic book store while a bunch of hippies look for use.
-to many points to bother to count.

There's nothing wrong with caring about nature, but I find going vegetarian just... well, unnatural.

That commercial needed more blood and gore. Seriously, I don't think her saying grace would deter anyone who had just powered back 6 beers watching football, if anything it'd encourage them.
I don't eat a lot of meat anymore, but I'd never get in anyone's face about what they decide to eat...unless they went cannibal.

Any given commercial only has to be refused in one market, or by one channel, to be considered 'banned'.
They can also be referred to as 'banned' if the people appearing in the commercial, or some other party involved in the commercial's production, stipulates that the ad can only appear under certain conditions. This used to happen a lot with celebrities in the 90's. People like Owen Wilson, or Jennifer Love Hewitt would appear in commercials meant to be aired only in Japan. The intent being to be paid for their appearance, while avoiding any potential negative press.

I like eating Meat. Meat is good for you and taste wonderful.
However, I do like to know the animal I'm eating was kept ethically, and slaughtered in the most humane way possible.
I don't go in for intensively reared meat. For one, there is no need for it. And 2, the meat is usually bland and tasteless, thus rendering it pointless in my mind.
Fed up of Scalpers? But still want your Exclusives? Why not join us?
I eat Duck, Goose, Chicken, Pork, Beef, Partridge, Quail and Pheasant so I guess this doesn't apply to me.
Although, with all that meat, PETA would hate coming to mine for Christmas.
SilverMK2 you are my favourite Dakkite; Meat tree's ®, GENIUS!
Happy Meat Eating.

Of course, as an American, that means I must say that soccer sucks, and football (real football... you know, the one where you do everything with your hands) is 10,000 times as good. I mean, football players could probably beat up soccer players, even, because they actually know sports.

If meat didn't want me to eat it, it wouldn't be so tasty. It would not grill over fire as well, it would not season as well. Meat wants to be eaten.
As for PETA, they tend to bitch about slaughter houses and mass "murdered" animals.
If we were all vegans, there isn't enough land in the world to grow enough food for everyone. Yes, we create a surplus now of crops, but that is because we eat meat, and don't rely on vegetable and plant matter alone.
Alos, I HATE the term "organic" food. ALL FOOD IS ORGANIC!!!!! No matter how it is grown, made, or anything, it is all organic! I don't eat aluminium potatoes, or cobalt cherries.

Rubbish, turkey is one of the worst meats there is. It's the only meat you have to put jam on to make it edible. It seems to me that the advertisment is denouncing factory farming methods, not eating turkey. I actually find myself in agreement with PETA for once. I think I'll go and sit down now, I'm feeling a bit off.
