Bush? No, Eldar Ranger

I will get 1 box/blister of everything new.

After that, the rules will dictate my further purchases.

How tied to the rules are your Tyranid purchases? (if you plan to buy any)

I try to get a full fieldable brood of each model.
From there I work up depending on what I like.
Then I get more of what I use.

So. . . somewhat?

I'll be looking at the codex before I make any purchases. To see what the changes are and what the new units will bring to the table, and how they'll be focusing the Army to play, whether Nidzilla will be the strong key config, or if they'll play back to the fluff stuff of swarms being more viable.

It'll be my playstyle compared to the rules that will dictate my spending/purchasing.

Cheers!

Just a box of Gargoyles for the wings. I'll be using them to make DE Warriors into Scourge and Kroot into Vulture Kindred.

Lost in the warp. Halp!

I'm definitely looking at the Codex before I buy. I'm likely only going to end up getting a 1500ish point force, give or take, so I want to be picky about what I grab.

Angels of Nezeria (Dark Angels successor chapter)
Tau Marines: Defectors to the Tau Empire (let the nerdrage begin!)
Fledgling Cadian Imp Guard: because I want to paint tanks

I have a 4k+ force of some of everything but Warriors, Gargoyles and Forgeworld stuff so I will be reading the codex before I purchase anything. Trygon if its in the codex will be a definite buy to use with my Raveners. Beyond that will have to wait and see.

I'd look at the codex before buying anything. With the new lizardmen, I'd love kroxigors but for the most part they seem not worth having... and so I am foregoing the awesome model :-/

I do like to have a chance to win when I play with my toy soldiers!

Also, I had tyranids last year (I since traded them) with tons of hormaguants... they were not very effective compared to genestealers and carnifexes and WoN gaunts, so it was frustrating to have committed so much to a (relatively) ineffective unit type! I also had 6 raveners, 3 lictors... you get the picture

Ill be buying the ones i like to start with, then ill add more of the better units.
Since im going for an apoc army i want some variety.
Cookie cutter apoc games really do get boring.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

Depends if they click with me.

Gargoyles are a must. I have 12 (or 8) of the original 2nd Ed Gargoyles and never bought any more as metal models + flying base = PAIN! Plastic ones is a God-send.

Raveners... I doubt it. I have 12 already. Don't want more.

Trygon? 2. At least. More if the Mawloc is interesting.

As for the rest... the Hive Guard intrigue me. I want to know more about them. The other two have fething stupid names, and one of them is a metal monstrosity and I'm sick of fiddly metal models. And we don't know what the other one looks like yet.

None... I'll abuse the rules to make a more awesome-codex-creep Chaos Daemons army muahahhaha.

Seriously: I want the Venomthrope just to make something (diorama) suggestive of H-Monsters...yum.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Like someone else mentioned, I will be getting at least a minimum sized unit of everything, and most likely at least one of every new model. I may not have everything on Jan 16th, but soon.

Gargoyles first...I have been waiting 2 years (since I started playing) just because the metal models are so expensive. After that I'm afraid it's codex first to see how the rules change...though truth be told I will probably get a bit of everything.

I'll look at the codex, then decide if Nids work for me. I would predict lightly that I'll be in for alternating boxes of nids and orks after that.

I'll be getting a Trygon, because they're just too cool not to. Other than that we'll have to wait and see what I like and want.
