Like the paint job, very clean and tidy, good highlighting and a nice base too.

Great work, only real complaint is the plasma gun on the combi bolter you did doesn't live up to the rest of the model. Otherwise AMAZING stuff!!!!!!

Looks great, although the blue on the arm and hood is a bit jarring.

Thats the correct Salamanders librarian colour scheme.

Here is the first librarian I did, better pic there, no skewed colours. The second looks like this (more roughly painted though)

I'm not sure what the other guy's issue, but to me, the paint on the barrel is grainy. When you compare it to the rest of this wonderfully plainted and based model, it stands out.

The plasma gun might just have been from one angle. I can't see the problem. I love your bases. Have you got a tutorial on them?

Damn, people keep asking me about base tutorials but I always forget about it.
Might do one eventually though. Just need to remember it the next time I mix some green.

Great model, as always. Colors are good, highlights are fantastic.

The plasma gun looks like you painted the lighter colors right over black. Feels like its poking through a bit still. And its not a smoth color. Also, the odd pale orange just doesn't mesh with the vibrant colors of the rest of the model.

Also, might be the lighting, but the face looks like he's been screaming for hours and has turned red :-P Probably just the lighting.

I think I see what they mean about the plasma gun, its just looking at it, the coloring is off, but I hardly noticed since the paint job on the entire model sticks out far more.

And I can tell that shield you have on the second librarian is from that one modeling website. That shield and like one shoulder are the only things on the website that seem even close to actually being decent models. On that subject I wonder if they will actually make anything good other then 2 things on that website?

Hehe, maybe I should send you a bunch of bitz to look at then. All arent perfect but most are better then they look in pics and I guarantee that all the sheilds as well as the rhino and landeriader stuff are top notch
But then again all tastes cant be the same all the times.

So you too think the combiplasma looks bad, hmm, I guess all the people cant be wrong then. I should do something about it I reckon, maybe change it for a combimelta or remove altogether...

No its not how it looks, its just the coloring is a bit off around the barrel, i just recommend going back over with it and touching it up a little bit nearer to the back of it, working your way up the barrel leaving the old color, I bet that would improve the combi weapon a lot.

I really like it. My only complaint would be on the face. The colours don't look quite natural, though it might just be me. Great work though.
