Anybody have any idea what the best 40k pistol is? In my opinion its the tau Plasma Pistol at S5 Ap5 but only the sniperdrone controller has one of these. I once killed a ork vehicle with it ( the front armor ten one

) All i could say that he was one dead

Splinter pistol. The dark eldar weapons are so brutal.

But Plasma Pistol probably has alot goin for it.

Dante's inferno pistol. Alternately, plasmas pistols; especially back in 4th edition where they could rapid fire if you were standing still.

How I miss my Dark Angels plasma suicide squads...

To mix things up I'm saying ork slugga, no one really understands it. It has no trigger, no feasable magazin feed, and is like 20 pounds.

But as far as versatility goes, the Ork slugga is the way to go. Its rugged, shoots a big ass solid core shot, and if it fails, just club your enemy to death with it, as it weighs a metric ton as far as hand guns are concerned

Simple, Creed's hand gun, just for the hicks and giggles for example my laspistol shoots a turbolazor into your landraider, any questions? I think not... oh look I rolled a 1... good luck to you chronus

But all in all my fav pistol would be a plas pis cuz of the ap

Deamon boltars are Str D, with a small blast, and will suck you into oblivion if you roll poorly. A PO'ed deamon erupting from the muzzel of your gun only to explode in your enemy's face is fun.

Or the AP 2 sniper pistol. =P

I would love a pistol for the chaos that can turn people into spawns. Just like tzeench. That would just round up the fun in 40k
