You'll forgive me for groaning that you two make so much sense that you make me look at myself with suspicion.

DLS DOES care about lynching anyone, his lust for bloodletting seem more akin to a denzien of Khorne than any Imperial citizen.

As for the_ferret, if this is a genestealer trying to back the other up it makes no sense. On two occasion we very nearly got a quick lynch (and the_ferret was one of those to try and off Drk_O).

Now he could have been trying to cover the genestealer base by attacking Drk_O and distancing himself, but I think it was very lucky how it worked out that neither of them got lynched right away. I don't think they planned it.

If I wanted to off Drk_O I would have whispered in someone else's ear to join me first, probably an innocent. If I wanted to prove Drk_O innocent I would have jumped on the person who had 2 votes at the time... and then.... nope actually I can't seem to think of a 'and then' to that one.... Bugger me dead.

Say Drk_Oblit and The_Ferret are 'stealers. When The_Ferret voted for Drk_Oblit, we were all very suspicous of him. He then started speaking in riddles and alot of people switched votes to him. Drk_Oblit escaped a lynch and The_Ferret was speaking in riddles. He latter explained that it was an expriment to catch 'stealers (pretty weak excuse).

Thats the thing.

The goal of this game, for Imperial Citizens, is to catch and kill the genestealers. Sometimes Imperial citizens have to be sacrificed for this to be done. But so early in the game, there is no possible way that lynching a citizen can help us catch 'stealers. This early in the game, we want to get lots of discussion in. What DSL wanted was to lynch an innocent, because of a joke that went too far and to stop discussion. This makes him very suspicous.

That logic is fail.

This makes sense (but is not always true, the Xenos killed me first in our last round, mostly as an attempt to implicate Thor who I was arguing with).

However, this:

Makes no sense whatsoever, how did you make the jump that if xenos kill smart people, the_ferret must be a xenos. as of yet no one has died. This seems like a poor attempt to get the_ferret bandwagon rolling again.

No one has died yet because these xenos are to scared to get bolwn to bits by bolter rounds. They will strike at night, that's when, most of us, are asleep.

If I was some kind of blood-letting psychopath, I'd merrily switch my vote depending on the trends of others, not caring who gets lynched.

And forgive me, but someone is dead and our lives are at stake, so you'll need to forgive me for not finding a joke 'funny'. We live in the Imperium of the God-Emperor of all Mankind for feth's sake, suffering is a by-product of our existence. The sooner you wailing nancies accept that the sooner we can get to the botom of this.

Regardless of what you all think I'm sticking with my suspicions. Making light of the situation and acting like a lunatic seem quite big targets to me!

But that's my entire point. If Drk_O is a genestealer then he's obviously a very poor one. It's better to take a stab at those sitting on the sidelines, throwing thier votes in and cheering it on. That is what genestealer would probably do and that is exactly what you are trying to do now.

Drk_O's behaviour is foolish, but not in itself suspicious.

It is undeniable that TLOG is using scummy logic. Whether this is just him being scummy, or him being a scummy genestealer is nowhere near as clear.

How about we lynch him and found out?
