OK, its been quite a while since I updated this P&M blog, (due to moving to a new barracks and all my stuff being boxed up) but fear not any who are interested I will be moving into my new longterm dwelling off post on the 12th of dec, and shortly after that I fully plan on starting back on this with vengeance.
So stay tuned and feel free to post any comments or suggestions or requests, I welcome and would love the input, and again thanks for your attention.
Stay tuned.......

OK sit rep time..move complete, retirement from army complete...unpacking..very uncomplete
But you know when your stuff has been packed away for a long time, you forget what all you had..its almost like christmas opening all these boxes
When I find my camera, and get my gameroom set up (maybe a week or so) will start in again in ernest, (I found like 3 tau battleforces in one box unassembled..I dont even remember buying them)
So until then any interested persons feel free to make suggestions or requests for the future of my blog, I can use the input.
Thanks in advance.

Ok dusting off the P&M, for the upcoming codex and slew of new models.
Just started working on a light box, so I can get some decent pics for a change.
Just finished a squad of Dreamforge , Eisenkern stormtroopers, and painted a few new Komodai Tau Auxilia troops.
On the slate for the big release I have 3 riptides in transit, a Sunshark, and a squad of the new hotness pathfinders, so I have a lot to do soon, cant wait!
Will get pics of the finished stuff posted up here hopefully tomorrow.
Thanks for the interest.

Sure Fluff is no problem, but what Fluff topics in particular?, let me know and I will be happy to elaborate on it. Automatically Appended Next Post: OK, since I have been looking at the cool new missle armed broadside variant, I decided to do a XV-8 conversion in line with my other conversions.
Heres the unpainted WIP pics.
I made the launchers removable and will elevate, and will maybe mount seeker(s) on it as well,(under the misslemounts).
plus some various little details and sanding to do.
Was a lot of fun to build and scales well with my other broadside conversions.
I will likely get some paint on this guy in the next few days.
Well enjoy all and comments and input welcome as always.

Wow, well done man. Your plasticard work is amazing.
One thing I would say is that, although you have done some work to bulk out the suit, it still looks a bit too small based on the new models. On GW's site currently they have a line up and it appears that the new broadsides are about half an inch taller and twice as wide. I think that adding a little more bulkiness and increasing the height (even by simply putting a rock on the base) would complete this conversion.
Having said that, I love the work that you've done on this. I might even have to try my hand at converting a couple for myself.

Is that the cockpit section of one of the tanks? That works really well like that. Reminds me of the GI Joe Sigma 6 series' redesign of the Cobra Firebat.
I've been meaning to ask, what shade of green is that you're using. It's exactly the shade I want to use on my stuff, but every time I've tried what I think is that color, it either turns out too bright, or too dark.
And you really do need to do a tutorial on how you do your flecktarn camo.

The cockpit area is from a piranha, and the green base I use is either Field green from Tamiya, or nato green.
Thanks for all the input to guys, hopefully I will have it painted up before the weekend, also will put some thought into doing a tutorial on the flecktarn -ish camo, I have never made a tutorial so will have to give it some thought.
Again thanks for the interest.

and a few with the landing gear down (landing gear are still a WIP)
and a final with its weapon bay filled.

Again thanks for the comments and questions.

Man, everything in this army is looking great! Nice to see that you're tackling the new stuff with such enthusiasm!
On a more modelling-based note, how does the Sun Shark compare to a Piranha size-wise? It seems like it would be possible to use one as a basis for conversion if the size is close enough.

A sunshark is roughly twice the length of a piranha and quite a bit wider (wingwise) , I use the front 3rd of a pirhana for the new cockpit on the conversion, maybe a bit more than a 3rd actually.
so a conversion of a piranha into a sunshark sized model would require quite abit of work, filler wise, to achieve the size.
hope this is helpful
