I just tried a new approach to my Komodai Aux, using primarily plasti-card and bits, I get real tired of sculpting with putty , so I have tried to streamline the process, I am fairly happy with the results, now will have to paint them up for final decision.




Oh, and as to the hull of the Leopard shark, it will be sorta like a streatched devilfish hull, with four engines and top and bottom weapon mounts in the area where drones would usually mount.

Well I worked up a heavy weapon Komodai, just to see how it could be realized, this one is a missle pod/ missle launcher operator.


The item in the Komodai's left claw is the trigger device for the launcher.



And My newest brain storm , I will attempt to scratch build a 40K version of my favorite APC of all time...



I found some good scale pics and now I will see what I can do, it should be fun, and this will be ear marked for my Komodai as a transport.

wow I mean wow. Just some beautiful and fantastic work here its amazing. I 'm not usually a fan of tau but you do a great job I love the lizardman conversions!

i like the camo and the broadside conversions. they have the general outline of the forgeworld suits (arm mounted railguns) but the angular aesthetic of the regular suits.

The Supper Heavy is a great idea, and it looks like it could kick some imperials a long way

Well since My super heavy is on hold till the weekend, I decided to get cracking on my " Xeno" APC , here is my first WIP pics...



The big black and white thing is not a Oreo cookie, its one tire made from 2x40mm bases and some plasticard.



A front view and a example how the wheel will fit into the body well.

I am attempting to build this model with the mind to mass produce more, so it will be a bit basic in shape, but I hope cool nontheless.

Next up will be attempting to make the turret able to fold down on the back of the APC.

Now for your consideration, this APC's movie design only has one exit point, for a better game version I am considering putting doors on both sides of the hull, I am just curious as to everyone's opinion on this, go fluff, or go improved design.

Definitely put a door on both sides of the hull.
Also I would bulk out the mounting point with some sort of shallow shield where the burst cannons connect to the turret.
Right now they look a little stuck-on.

Maybe use this for your auxilleries human perhaps a colony veihicle that has been refitted with Tau Weapons Im all for crossing over stuff from different Sci-Fi I was going to use a Zaku or a Geara Doga as a Sentinel in my Catachan army.

But this only really works in Aliens in a 40k setting im not too sure...Im not savaging your work in any way Im just being honest...

Demonslayer82 : yup my intention is for this vehicle to be used by the non-tau auxillaries, human and other . They keep the good tech for themselves .

I plan on making a few varient turrets as-well, some with Tau weaponry, and some with human, just to keep things interesting.

I may even build the next one with the intention to resin cast it, I always wanted to field the APC from aliens in 40k, but all the models I ever found were way to big for a standard transport.
