The two new songs are pretty good, I could easily imagine hearing them on the radio. Hmm perhaps that is a rather crass observation, radio play is obviously not the only form of validation for musicians etc... Anyway...
Not a hundred percent on the drum loop thingy on the second song, find it quite distracting. I keep thinking of that Portishead song Machinegun.
All in all, you get a thumbs up from me. We all know that is immensely important to you and your band.
Lol just saw Corpses true-name on your FB page.........

Thanks for the support, also.

Oh, and the cover art for the album is 'Untitled_bubble' by Jim Kazanjian, an artist from the US. He let us use it. The cover for the FIBUA thing is by our bass player/multi-instrumentalist, Simon Adams.

Fighting In Built Up Areas. It's an armed forces acronym - the song is our response to the Manchester riots.
Interestingly, UK armed forces don't use FIBUA anymore according to mattyrm and another RM mate who's just back from Vietganners. Now they use OBUA - the 'O' standing for 'Operations', presumably to make it sound less violent.
I suggested that they go the whole hog and change it to DDTBP:
Delivering Democracy To Brown People.
@Monster Rain - Thanks!

In addition to being available on iTunes, will it be available for direct download? I simply won't use iTunes (horrible program), and I never buy physical media. A way to buy the .mp3 or .flac (preferably .flac) directly would be lovely.
I can understand if your 'pay what you want method' from your last album isn't worth doing again, but I'd really like to have the option to buy a direct download, as that's the only way I'll ever pay for any music, regardless of how we're expected to actually pay.

Alby is likely a tad hangover at the moment
I asked him for an mp3 copy of the new song and he told me not to distribute it to widely so I'm guessing putting a download out on the web for everyone is probably unlikely at this time.

Ugh. My. Head.
Feeling a bit ropey this morning (actually, afternoon). I Didn't get home until 5am. All I'm gonna say is: If someone offers you a line of something, check what it is first.
Words of wisdom right there.
Yeah, the party was a success, I reckon. There was easily 100+ people in there and the capacity was only 150. It seemed full, and people were having a good time by the looks of things. Anyway, we filmed it and recorded the audio, so you'll be able to see it for yourselves soon enough!
RE: Some sort of Fibua release - We won't be releasing the limited edition CD (they all went last night) as an MP3, but obviously I appreciate that none of you live in Manchester, and some not even in the UK, so you didn't have the opportunity to get a copy. Tell you what, to say thanks for all the support that you lovely Dakkanauts have shown my crappy little band, I'll email the track/s to anyone who wants them. Just drop me your email address on a PM.
