may i recomend buying a GK terminator pack if you are gone make Flutershy into an apothecary and there is alot of bitz that would fit in with the models and last maby some necron arms for servo arms to get to the hard spots since one thing is using a sword horn but i dont think their bones are that soft (well all but Rarity and Pinkie since one is a marsmellow and the other is a demigod )

Is it just me, or has just about every Brit on this thread supported MLP Marines? no racial segregation, racism or whatever it is you forum folk call your interwebular abuse, but maybe the brits are more tolerant of new ideas, having been under the yoke of games Workshop for longer than any other?

On the note of Storyline, I was thinking about coming up with an Equestrian Empire in the galactic west, with a timeline similar to that of the Imperium. There is only 7 MLP Legions, but each is led by a main character, and their was no heresy, seeing that friendship is indeed magic. however, there is a rebel techpony who creates legions of steam powered roboponies to gain revenge. I'm almost finished with the first saga (I like doing my fluff in sagas, what of it?), and I'll post in in a bit.

As for brits being more tolerant, I’m not sure really, I think its just Americans are a little more outspoken with their veiws (no offence intended) so its possible any brits with negative feed back don’t really feel like putting it lol

Ah i'm with you now. Ooh that would be epic. I'd go with one of two options:
1) Build it as if it fits one pony lying down, maybe a gap for the mane to stream out on top.
2) Make a flying pony, give it vehicle style armour and do it in the style of a Wonderbolt. That's the one i'd do. it requires a lot of cutting and repositioning but you can cover it up with armour plating. It fits your army better too.

What did you have in mind?

The best conversion for a tempest I've seen was made using the Drop Pod kit.

I'll see if I can find the pics later, but maybe having 1-2 ponies riding one of the doors, use another door to make the top (mayhaps cut holes for the ponies, then build up plates around them..) and go from there.

I'll do up a sketch if you like
