Thanks for that. I use loctite supergel exclusively these days for the hobby, but am always open to new stuff. I've used Gorilla Glue in woodworking and zounds! good stuff. A bit foamy at times though.

Gorilla does a wood glue too, among other things which might be what you are thinking of?

Well I've actually been working on Geckos recently but inspiration took me in a different direction for the Soga so I slapped some modifications together. I have two head options I can't decide between but either way I think he looks a bit meaner like this. Opinions are welcome, nothing is set in stone.

Ditto, looks a little more buff for some reason.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away...

Casey, where did you get the clear bases from that you mentioned earlier?

Having seem them used on the BattleSystems Kickstarter last year, I'm seriously considering basing my AvP models on clear bases (if they ever get delivered)

Yeh in retrospect I totally agree, I got carried away with the second option because the first one is the stock head and we know what Casey's like when it comes to being a bit different. Funnily the second option is just the first one turned upside down which is something I've done before with an Infinity miniature.

I actually don't have my bases yet, I'm going to be having them laser etched/cut so I need to sort out my designs before I get them done. I had a prototype done ages ago which there might be a picture of somewhere with my Szally on it. I'll be using the very brilliant Warmill who even knocked together the design for the prototype I asked them to rush through for me. Then they sent me 4 versions of the base to choose between and refused to take any form of payment for them. They used to post on Dakka a lot but not any more, great guys, highly recommended. Plus custom clear resin bases, who doesn't want custom clear resin bases, with Geckos on them, Geckos, Geckos on custom clear resin bases. But that's for another blog. They also do a version with a mirrored layer underneath which is cool and various colours of clear resin, check the website out to see what you can get.
