@RI - whoops! My bad. I was a bit tired when I posted that, so it looks like I did some mis reading.

@Tre - it looked like a fairly "true" 28 mm. I think infinity may be the best comparison I can readily think of, though it was fairly close to Dark Age as well.

No worries, and awesome that you were able to snag one of the (25?) Pride models they had there! Looking forward to hearing your impressions of it once you've built it

thank you cincy. That is a very helpful answer. That puts them the same size as RBG humans as well.

Late to the thread, but I completely agree with this comment, and the division of responsibilities and scope to include Guillotine Games is the only reason I would consider to back a McVey-related property at all. I'm watching this, and I wonder if CMoN will be Kickstarting it, or if GG will run the campaign. Does anyone know how this is going to release?

It will be a KS.

No idea on timeframe, but were I a betting man I think it'll be April-ish.

Thanks, cincydooley.

It's odd that the monsters are so great, and the male heroes so lackluster. Shocking that the werewolf is so poor, with his giant head and tiny legs.

Yep, I'm thinking of a lot of lines that could benefit from some proxy monsters doing permanent duty in them, if the KS goes with the seemingly obligatory "throw in a pile of duplicate sculpts beyond what you need" model that a lot of the bigger boxes have done.

First of all Happy New Year. We have been very silent in these last months... for different reasons. We have entered in the very final stage of play test and soon Eric M. lang will start posting news on the game and its mechanic. We have finished all the work related to art, sculpts and painting job. So we have concentrated on these aspects and we missed some opportunities to show you some stuff. Also we confirm the game will be launched through a Kickstarter campaign. Probably in the second quarter of the year. Thanks for your patience!

I'm glad that they're basically done, however, they really should revisit the Werewolf Hero concept - why would he carry a sword if he's big and strong? And if his sword is sharp, why would he step on it?

With that pose and his face he's trying his best Vermin Fiend impersonation, if I had to guess.

I really want the minis to turn out great and lets hope they can show lots of production samples before pledges need to be locked f the models are "done". Rum'n'Bones was simply kbad at this, mostly showing TINY pics of the plastics (renders?!) and painted resins front and center. That there's one model already sold makes me both hopefull that they'll be forthcoming with realproduction minis AND anxious that they'll concentrate only on that one huge figure, where shrinkage and mold lines are less of a problem. What will it be? The unpainted backgound figures in the display cabinet last year were supposedly samples, right? Let's hope they get the spotlight.

Twisted demons won't look as bad when parts get affected by shrinkage diffently as realistic, anatomically correct humans would, so they have that going for them. And lots an lots of teeth, which is much better then just tentacles and brains. I've held brains before, they're just not scary. They're not even as awesomly dingustingly squishy as lungs are when you poke them! Those brains might get sculpted over IF I back this, actually. Teeth/fangs and tentacles though, even if you handle those in reality are potentially dangerous parts of beasts, those will always be scary based on our primordial fear of them.

Those human acolytes (?) are pretty awesome as well, better than quite a few of the demons, IMO, but they'll be much easier to mess up in the transition.

The unpainted miniatures in the back of the Gencon case are the production miniatures so they are all done.

I don't have any better pictures than these so not much help with the fine details

I'm sure it's been posted here, but I'm too lazy to look at the moment, as well as being possibly too inebriated to tell anyways.

How large of base does Pride sit on? 60? 80? Even bigger? It's hard to tell just from the photos.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

The challenge will be assembly, if these are not pre-assembled. I recall having to reset the SedWars Grendlr minis to get the parts to line up. Also the female Sams' gun arms.

He's on an oval, so none of the above. It's a pill shape thats 60mm wide by 40mm ish deep.

Huh. I would've thought he'd be sitting on one of those big 40k ovals from the looks of those photos.

Thanks!

All the miniatures are preassembled.

As Cincydooley said Pride is on a pill shaped base (think 40K bike base) 45mmx60mm most of the others are circular depending on their size. The feet are moulded to the base.

The big one that's also on the box? That's Pride, who's been shown solo a page or two back.

Sweet Jesus, those monster sculpts are so friggin gnarly. I still don't see any thematic resemblance to the indicated sin, but at this point, I don't care. They're perfect for the kind of Chronenberg body horror D&D games I run.

first image of the game in play - while the tiles have a similarity to Zombicide they have said the games are not compatible.

EDIT: Remy put up the Pride Abomination sculpt on his blog

http://remytremblay.sculpture.over-blog.com/article-le-petit-pride-the-others-125416506.html

Each sin has 3 stages the largest is the Avatar (the Pride miniature I posted earlier is an Avatar) above is the mid size stage the Abomination and the smallest most human looking are the controllers.

This is the Pride Controller

Minis are nicely-sized on the board, though I'm not necessarily a fan of the 3-D effect if this is going to be grid movement...

I can't tell if those buildings are printed on to the street tiles, or if they're separate overlays.

Streets are also rather clean looking for how messed up and disturbing the creatures are that are going to be involved in the fight.

Always a big fan of thematic mini heavy boardgames. This one has a good pedigree behind it to, so I'm sure I'll be interested in this.

Do we have any gameplay details yet? Head to head, co op, number of players?

this one is looking more and more like my kind of game. I just wish the human faction looked as good as the monsters.
