Awesome jeep.

The decals on the tanks look great.

Good ideas using different basing for different troop types.

Never realised how dinky that thing is. Always thought it was about the size of a Rhino. Well, the Rhino next to it disproves that one!

Looks great though.

The Tauros and the Arvus Lighter are both really tiny FW pieces.
I've now got some of the tiny tanks that go inside a chimera, speaking of diddy. Russian doll tanks!

Big topic clean up and update due, I've just been slacking.

Here's a thing I made to help my gakky memory.

I’m a big fan of using CCG sized reminders myself. How did you put yours together?

I printed them using Photoshop and screenshots from Battlescribe, put them in CCG holders and hole punched the top to keep them in with the chain.
So many people were actually shocked, "That's genius!" it took an hour, I didn't think I'd be alone on doing this.

I use a program called Magic Set Editor for mine. They are fairly simple to put together, and I also get a lot of complements and “Great idea!” about them. As an Ultramarine player I have a number of one-use doctrines to keep track of. Once I use it, I can just toss the card back into my case.

With GW going to the dataslate format, I keep thinking it might be worth it to scan/print them out, probably at half sized. They have pretty much all the information you need on one page, so I could just have the ones in my army out on the table to save time flipping though the codex. Of course, now that they are all on a single page, there is less flipping. As opposed to when each unit had it’s information smeared over 3-4 places in the book.

Those look ace!
When I've finished painting my units, I think I may use your format with a photo of each up there.

What's hilarious is that we've come full circle. In 2nd edition, you had Datafaxes for all your vehicles, and people made cards like this for their units.

When second came out I'd have been learning to read multi syllable words.

For a while I've been focused on quantity- getting my army to TTS and able to roll. My last list had nearly 95 figures in it, and I started on it barely a month earlier.
Finally it's time to go back and pretty up these fellas to the standard they deserve. To the best of my ability, anyway.

The overall group is a bit eclectic. It's Mordians backed up by Tanith. Ultimately I will separate out into a regiment of each, but I don't yet know how to represent a sergeant for the Tanith. Right now they each have a Mordian sergeant regardless of original regiment.

They're all at various stages of "that'll do". I'm hoping to take them out a squad at a time and work on them.

First guys up for renewal are my CCS.
I may end up stripping them as I'm very unhappy with the primer being thick. But that's backwards progress and we want to get gak done.

Let's get these guys gussied up.

Looking sharp BC. How did the game go?

I think the 'look at my book!' on the jeep is brilliant.

I got absolutely minced.
It was Attrition rule set, which means when an infantry unit is wiped out, it returns in ongoing reserves.
Unfortunately I very rarely suffered a total wipe due to playing massive scattered infantry.
Also midway through game two I came down with very rapid food poisoning and had enough time to say, "I'm not okay." before running to the nearest bathroom and vomiting out everything from the ankles up. Had a friend step in for game 3.

We faced Guard (lost), Salamanders (lost), Tau (won, but it was actually the guy I shared the hotel with, so kinda pointless), grey knights (lost) and space marines with Knights (won on VP, lost on tournament points).

In March there's a tourney based on ridiculous deaths, so I'm going for that.

Played a friend with the same 1500 list on Tuesday and beat him into the ground on objectives. Clearly that's what I need to do in future.
