Hmm I do have a white dwarf from when they were released. I'll hunt it out and see if I can't give you original price.

Yeah it'll be more economical to buy a 3d printer.

I shouldn't talk. I don't have one, and I too buy silly things for silly prices, but just need to note that.

As someone that has zero interest in owning/maintaining/learning 3d printing, but didn't own anything to do with MESBG until part way through lockdown, decided one day that collecting it would be a good way to spend the time stuck at home, but now owns I'd say approximately 75-80% of the entire range ever made, I'm more than happy to see the made to orders. 3d printers might be economical, but for me would have zero joy.

Yes, they the MTO are costly but not as silly priced for what they would cost me for second hand. And as the large resin stuff is the some of the hardest to come by on the second hand market, and what I'm missing from my collection and I would love to be able to cross these off my collection list.

I see the Minas Tirith for 449 good boy points (612 US dollars) on ebay, not sure what it cost at release but that's... a lot.
Well I found an old WD that had the Helms Deep listed. $100AUD as of Jan '03. Didn't have prices list for other countries though, so I don't know what it would have been in the US/UK.
I keep my eye out for them on the usual sites, and I've never seen one go for less then $450AUD.

That would probably have put it at around the £75 mark at the time. Which sounds about right. Can't imagine it costing less than £150 at the current time though.
