So not super-rare, but rare-ish.

You and me both, Aduro. I'm planning birthday gifts for my friend who's planning on getting into 40k with Tyranids...and a Lictor brood with a rare Lictor model sounds perfect.

Your post has given me an Idea, GW could start producing army specific boxes that contain one special edition model, which could be common, uncommon, rare or super rare. Sort of like a D+D or card collection blister but with nice looking models. Could this be a good Idea?

I want it, but I don't $60 want it, nor do I need a whole army to accompany it.
Are the claws the only thing that's different? I bet I could close those up on a regular Lictor real nice like....
