There are two Tyranid Datasheets in this month's White Dwarf and one on the GW website as of today. Here's a link. More Apocalypse fun.

Actually they both involve the Trygon. the first one is similar to the one in the Apocalypse book but instead of Raveners you have Lictors and Hormagaunts. the bonus with this one is you roll an extra 2d6 hormagaunts everyturn for free until you roll a double and the formation appears anywhere you want it.
the other one is an all trygon force with an alpha trygon. this force have a more powerful electric blast

3D6 of Hormies actually.
Plus, the initial batch (Trygon, Lictor Brood and Hormogaunt Brood of 20+) gets to do a sort of extremely accurate Deep Strike in the first turn, AND assault at the same time. Can be pretty awesome for disrupting and killing a bunch of troops. Plus your opponent than has the Hormiehole (I claim that term as my own) to worry about for the rest of the game. You can could even get cheeky and pop them up near an objective. Not exactly in the spirit of Apocalypse, but good for a laugh!

Still waiting for the Iron Saint... Oh, and this part's amusing: The Studio aims to publish an FAQ within a few months of a new codex or army book's release. The questions answered in our FAQs have been gathered from many sources. Some have been submitted by members of the public, others by representatives of the online gaming community and more still are the result of face to face meetings with players themselves. The Studio is always happy to consider more questions, and aim to update the FAQs as frequently as is possible. If you have a particular rules question that you can't solve by talking it through with your gaming friends, then get in touch with the Studio by writing to: Design Studio Games Workshop Willow Road Lenton Nottingham NG7 2WS Though please note that although each and every letter will be read, you may not receive a reply and your question might not appear as part of an FAQ document - as the name suggests, it really depends how frequently asked it is. You'll find more information on FAQs and all of the current FAQ documents here. Finally, remember that the staff of your local Hobby Centre are all enthusiastic hobbyists and will be more than happy to help answer your questions or chat about anything hobby related. It doesn't mention the wholesale and virtually word-for-word stealing of FAQ material from the internet though.

Was it copyrighted? How do you define stealing when there was no intention of making money with it in the first place (by Gwar!) and none by GW afterwards?
Sure, basic manners would demand at least an honourable mention in my opinion, but to use the word stealing, especially in the context of something "published" on the internet, is exaggerated.

I wrote a post here a few years back my 'you make the call' on the Fire Prism. The current Fire Prism is exactly the same as my recommendation with narrow and wide arc settings of varying strength down to the same ranges S and Ap of the weapon.
I don't mind, don't mind at all. Gwar should likewise shut up and be happy, in effect he gets to write the codex.
I really hope GW dont take Gwars lead for Monstrous Creatures with wings, as his interpretation of this rule sucks. At 60pts for the biomorph I want my Hive Tyrant to deepstrike thankyou very much.

Our Tyranid Codex had 'Shadow in the Warp' long before it appeared in any GW Codex... but they wrote their own. They didn't take my rule and re-print it word for word.

Great...so now I expect GW's FAQ to follow some completely contradictory, irrational, and illogical trains of thought just so they won't have to deal with whining from people saying they ripped off somebody who wrote their own FAQ.
In all seriousness,it's an FAQ. The spirit of the rules is usually pretty clear, and as an FAQ,the intent of the document is to answer the question in as clear and concise a manner possible,so the wording should be pretty similar.
Maybe GW ripped Gwar off or maybe they didn't. If they did rip him off, they don't have to acknowledge it,because he's using their IP and copywrited material as a basis for his FAQ in the first place. Truthfully,if they did steal it,then they probably SHOULDN'T give him credit, either. It sets a dangerous precedent, and GW would soon be completely buried under a deluge of fanboy created rules, FAQ's,and codexes if they did acknowledge it. Personally,I think it's a little ironic that a guy who stole his internet identity from a cult band and stole the basis for his FAQ from GW in the first place would turn around and complain that they stole his work from him,but whatever.

I don't know UK law but in the US anything written is considered your copyright unless those rights are explicitly surrendered. Claiming copyright increases your protection, filing a copy with the Library of Congress does so even more. But even if I scribble something on a napkin no one has the right to reprint it without my permission.
