EDIT: Updated to include my other army - Imperial Fists!

My plan - to assemble a reasonable force of Emperor's Children and stick to the fluff as much as possible - so sonic weaponary and Noise Marines all round!

Part 2 of the plan is to do it entirely second hand using eBay crap and bitz from my bitz box.

I usually start with a couple of HQ units, just to get a feel for painting the colours.

Next up, a Noise Marine squad and their Rhino. Ultimately, I decided to use a different Rhino...

What do you do with a marine who loses his arms and legs in battle? Mount him on a Rhino as a twin linked bolter!

Thanks man, I'm going to be coninuing the audio theme throughout the army. Currently working on wiring some speakers in to a slightly knackered looking Land Raider.

I have a lot of things like that just lying around in drawers, but you can also get them for 50p from any online AV shop.

The Rhino is the first time I have used green-stuff for anything other than filling in gaps. I am reasonably pleased with how it turned out, and it's inspired me to be a bit more adventurous next time.

Finally finished up my first squad of Noise Marines!

Would love to see a step by step painting on your NM's with a list of colors, or approximates.

Will be starting my Lizardmen army in the next week or so, and am trying to get all the pointers I can.

I'll post that for you later if you want. It's not too complicated - only a couple of different colours.

Yeah. Loving the graffiti. Also loving the "twin linked bolter" dude on your rhino. Your minis look done to a very good tabletop standard, how long would you say it takes you to complete a squad to that level?

very bright, kinda too bright for most standard grimdark. But then again I highly doubt that slaanesh marines would be in the camouflage crowd. Good conversion work nevertheless, you don't even need them painted to tell that they're slaanesh and that's always a good thing with conversion heavy chaos.

I like the yellows you have - they aren't too bright, yet they are still clearly yellow and not brown, as many non canary ones tend to look

Shouldn't the graffiti be "feth the false emperor" or "feth the corpse god"? Thought chaos wasn't too keen on calling him emperor.

Love the dev team, green really stands out nicely against the yellow

the yellow is so bright in the dev squad, how did you manage that?
