I am planning to build 10 chaos raptors. I have seen 1 or two conversions that other people have done. my plan was to use berzerkers and the space marine jump packs along with green stuff. I would apperciate it if anyone who has pics of their Raptor conversions or some one elses would post them here so i may see them for ideas. I searched the forums before posting this, it is possible i missed an tread about this, if so i appologize

I created raptors that same way - bought a box of assault marines and kitbashed them with Berzerkers for Khorne raptors. The only problem is with the heads - the bunny ear helmets are too wide for the gap in the jump pack where it hangs over the shoulders, so you either have to cut them off or use standard helmets. Otherwise, it's a simple conversion and looks great. I don't have anything pictured or painted handy, but I'll see what I can dig up.

i was planning them to look alot like what black posted, only for nurgle not khorn. Also i would like to have the back packs have the bulky arch that the real raptor modles have. TY for the pics. much appreciated

Loyalist jump packs just don't look good on Chaos Marines to me. Too clean and plain. Better than shelling out however much for a bunch of unstable metal models though, I suppose.

AHA! Me to the rescue!
Here's a tutorial I made a while back on how to make Raptors.
If I did this again I would butcher some of those lovely new Tyranid Gargoyle wings for them though.

Two different squads in my Black Legion. Pictures aren't the greatest, but I am at work and they're all I've got =)

First squad was made using Jump Packs and Plastic Possessed. I "fancied up" the jump packs with GS and spikes from the Plastic Chaos Spawn box. Some of them still need shoulder pads - I ran out of Khorne ones (the squad has Mark of Khorne and a champ with Twin Lightning Claws).

Second squad was just left-over marine bits and Jump Packs.

Bellus bellum gratia.
