Culteral difference maybe? And by that I mean I grew up in very small, very 'western' town where logging and ranching wer the main industries, and moved to Philly where cheesesteaks and pizza are the main industries. I might be culturally stunted.

I'm guessing you were referring to 'panzies'? Where I've lived, it means 'wimp' or 'mama's boy'. Generally used by football coaches when they thought you were ' You're all tackling like a bunch of girls. I thought you panzies wanted to play football!' (Girls at the time in the far past being dainty things that didn't play football. )

Where I live, panzies is a type of flower.

I've heard it used both ways.

Yeah, when I hear pansies the first thing I think of isn't homosexuality but more the second definition: effeminate and cowardly.

I figure the mention of Carnifexes is simply due to there being a lot of them showing up at last years 'Ard Boyz event, which is probably where they got the inspiration for the list of "rock solid" stuff. Of course, with new 'dexes and a new metagame for those of you who do tournaments, the list no longer holds true.

As to the pansies thing, as someone raised in the home counties of England, I've always heard and seen pansy used as a synonym for wimpy or pathetic, not as a homosexual slur (I've heard a few of those in my time, and pansies is far, far nicer.)

As I think about it, I believe it's the exact blurb they had last year. Just hasn't been updated
