But I prefer just collecting skulls over taxidermy anyway.

Ummm....why? I am not against taxidermy or displaying it i just find the traditional deer head a little more appealing to look at. This really doesnt qualify as art for me. I feel this is more disturbing then anything else.

Cute artist morbidly beutiful and intricate work, drop the rightious facade people and give credit where it's due. It really is stuff like this that reopens my mind to a world where everything else bleeds my sanity for its profit. I can't find how much her work costs atm, her website seems to be down so does anyone know? I'll keep checking it.

@jamunition: LOL!!! Dude you can't hate her for the message she is trying to send! You can try to hate that she is profitting off of it but then your not giving her work the admiration it deserves.

Actually, its entirely possible to hate someone for the message they are trying to send. Even legitimate at times.

That isn't what jamunition said. That's what you inferred, without legitimate cause, from his comment.

Incidentally, its difficult to be sardonic when actively engaging in the thing being treated with disdain; namely the modification of nature vis a vis dead animals.

Thats how I feel about the stuff that Gunther von Hagens does with cadavers. Heres a pic or two. And I have to say some of those steampunk things are cool. I really dig the gator
