So now the BloodBowl seems to be alive and kicking in Northern Ireland. I thought it was time to work on a new team
and since I've got loads of ork models taking refuge in my house, I thought there was only time to put them to good use

So having searched for inspiration I have recently came across a couple of interesting posts on several of my forums which I thought I would share

Kr00zA custom ork team probably some of the best conversion work I've seen in regards to this team very inspired.

Really do like that ork in this post like the way they've used the new plastic black reach.

Love the colour scheme of this team

This for me has to be the front runner just look at the size of them

So here's the idea I think I'm going to use the black reach Nobs as Black orks

line man will simply be 40k ork converted with hats, armour etc

Blitzers are a little bit more tricky need your help?

Throwers will simply be 40K ork models with less armour

My team is definitely coming along nicely and overall I'm quite pleased with the results so far. For me the biggest thing I'm trying capture is I want them to look very nasty looking.

Also there are armour had to be just right something I haven't done before and on the whole not looking too bad it just goes to show that plastic card can be underrated.

All so need to pick up more orks nobs on eBay shouldn't be too expensive.

linemen didn't want them wearing too much armour

So all being well if all goes to plan they should all be finished in the next week or so and then painting.

Although I am planning to add a goblin, and I have an idea in mind?

Just another we update in regards to the team and as you can see it's coming along very nicely, and should be finished in time be for the tournament in July.

It's changed a little and I'm especially pleased with the armour. I think overall it's an improvement from the spikes that you can see in the first few pics.

Still a little bit to do with the 4 Blitzers

Also adding a coach gives a little bit more character to the team overall

As well the black orcs look especially menacing in size and were definitely the right option.

So with the team finished I finally got round to posting some pics

I'm really pleased the way they have turned out and the only thing I still want to do is to painted their own ball for them to play with, and a few other bits and pieces off the top of my head namely a head coach, some goblins, cheerleaders and fear not because I'm already working on my next star player and hopefully any time soon I should have him finished to take to the pitch.
