My favourite discussion this week at my GW store was what would happened if you threw a Vortex Grenade? The greatest response that started a whole new topic of discussion was:-
"Stephen Hawking would appear after the detonation and scream "IN THE NA-ME OF THE EM-PER-OR DI-VI-DE BY ZE-RO" and a singularity would form and suck in everything within 1000metres"
Then a hitherto silent customer said "I like to think that all Dreadnoughts contain a Stephen Hawking" it was moment of pure genius and the start of some serious Dr Stephen bashing.
Personnally i'd like to see Stephen Hawking in a Khorne Dreadnought screaming in his Vox "BLOOD-FOR-THE-BLOOD-GOD" in his microsoft Sam Voice.
Where could you see Stephen Hawking in the 40K Universe ?

I agree with KK, After ten years in the Commando's men with powerful bodies and strong wills cease to impress me. Men with superhuman intellects impress me, and i couldnt wrap my head around most of "A brief history of time" and as I am in awe at that mans intellect, I nominate him for Emperor!

Well he cannot perform and thus cannot practice the orators art, even the best minds need the art of showmanship to really get their points noticed face to face. With this in mind he was been offered a more expressive voice but turned it down because the voice he has has become his character.
Just remember he has to type all he says at a painfully slow speed for playback afterwards. You cannot Q&A him except with prepackaged questions, so interaction is limited, but you xhould take that into account.
Boring? I would be too over- awed while listening to him to ever be bored.
Hawkins is one of those rare heroes who future generations might question if he really existed when they hear of what he achieved. This was the benchmark Einstein set for the most extraordinary of men and he initially ascribed the criteria to Ghandi as an epitaph. I think Hawkins is enough to warrant that status, T.E. Lawrence might too cant think of any others in modern history.

I may be a Ponti but I have hung around these types in the same way David Attenborough hangs around mountain gorillas. After a while you can get to understand the various grunts and expressions, they can be remarkably communicative creatures. Here is a rough transcript slightly edited to blur individual references as to which is which:
"I am so hard I use sandpaper to wipe my arse."
"I heard that."
"You one of us?"
"No, the other sort."
"Do you still use C4 to wipe?"
"No not since the cuts, we have to make do with an industrial scourer."
While on this note please be aware of cheap imitations. If the grunt sounds like "I am so hard I use sandpaper to wipe my ass" then you haven't got the genuine product, though they can still be dangerous to pontis, anyone in robes or at odds of three to one or greater.
