Just curious as to how much time, energy, thought and effort we put in. I've made the options quite unscientific so just go with your gut instinct.

I would paint and play every night if I had more free time, though as it stands I can't really find much time to spend on 40k. So I voted for a small impact.

Spend a lot of time on Dakka and theoryhammer but not enough gaming. Just don't have enough time :( so other.

I spend about 3 maybe 4 hours a week painting. I don't get to game very often though. My biggest hobby is Roleplaying Games.

Various other commitments mean i dont devote as much time to the hobby as i would like. I went for small impact.

My time varies some weeks i'll have a painting binge and do several hours everyday and sometimes i won't touch it for a fortnight.

i spend maybe two hours a night painting. That is only because there is NO ONE that plays Warhammer 40k where I live, there isn't even a single game store in my city. the closest one is 2 hours out...so sad

I put in as much effort for it as I can.

I got other things to pay for and I often can only game once a week,

I assuamed wargaming meant just painting, gaming etc.
If Dakkadakka is included then I've ticked the wrong box!

I spend a lot of free time on it, occasionally I fall in and out with it and can go for a while without painting anything but I game each Friday and at the moment, am really enjoying painting my Malifaux stuff, so am spending quite a lot of time on Steampunky related stuff...

I put biggest hobby. But I'm trying to change that to small impact. I have more important things I could and should be doing (like asking a girl out on a date hahaha)

I usually spend maybe 3 to 6hrs a week painting. And if things work out still, gaming on sundays. But if it counts for anything, 75% of my measly income goes into it, if not more.

I like to spend a few hours a week at least thinking about the game. Probably play less than i should cause i have school and a life beyond gameing. Favorite pass time is fishing, followed closely by surfing and camping.

Every possible moment I can I'm thinking about new lists and paint schemes.

Sadly, I don't get as many games in as I'd like, but that can be easily fixed now that I have a table.

Moderate, I play Magic a lot too (going to big events and casual), videogaming, going back to college soon, reading, work. Though I tell coworkers that I will purge them with my blessed bolted.
As moderately as I am hobbywise, I am a bit fluff crazed.

moderate impact. 2-3 Hour per Week. i spend the most free time in my house, my wife, my pc, pc-games and pen and paper roleplaygames. thats enough to spend my time and money.

I spend about 8-10 hours per week modelling and painting.
1 day a week (on a good week, there's 2 days back to back) for gaming (but that's usually a 9-5 thing).

Currently I spend a lot of time working on my 40K stuff. A couple of hours a day at least. Once I go home from Korea at get back to my wife and kids (11 more months), that will change back to a few hours a week.

Painting like there's no tomorrow. It's my job!

I play onec a week at least and paint 5-6 hours a week as well so i'd say moderate.

honestly, everyday. im thinking about it. talking about it. or working on something.

I don't spend as much time as I would like to, but whenever I'm not at school, hanging with friends, or my friends are pulling me online, I'm doing things oriented around Warhammer. But it has made a huge impact in my life, so I voted Biggest hobby.

I looks after svhool most nights and paint 1-3 models, which i am told is the optimum level of concentration you are suppoust to have. if you concentrate much more yorr brain saturates and you cant think.

I just started assembling and painting my wood elves. I have six dryads assembled, and I spent about eight hours painting them on Saturday. I spent another hour on them last night just doing some touches on skulls and their eyes. I want to do a little more leafwork and some details on them, so I hopefully will finish these this evening, and then assemble the other six for the same treatment. i am extremely happy with the creepy red eyes.

Small to moderate. I wouldn't call my involvement more than dabbling, but that frequently adds up to a few hours or more, depending on the week. I do painting and modeling work in little spurts, here and there, but some things just aren't worth doing piecemeal, so I have to wait until I have a sufficient block of time, which sometimes takes a while. Time on Dakka would add a few more hours to my total, as I'm on here a few times a day, usually. It's a lot easier to take short Dakka breaks throughout the day than to find a solid hour in which to get some painting done, so I don't really feel like I'm losing hobby time when I'm online.

It switches between small impact and moderate to large impact. I can't always afford to get new models, but when I do I spend a lot of time putting them together and painting them.

Then I head down to my FLGS to see how they fit into my army.

So since my involvement in the hobby fluctuates, I put "other."

I dabble now a days. I barely would even call it that. I used to be moderate but then I got lazy to get up on weekends for events. Then I got lazy to touch any of my stuff. Now I mostly just listen to podcasts on wargaming.

Wargamming has taken up a proprtionally large amount of my time recently without really playing much.

Have been organising games and making terrain for the kids at our small gaming group at the local after school study club.

Reading posts on Dakka also takes up too much of my time
