Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition!

We are honored to reveal Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition, that will come out on PC at the end of 2010!

Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition is the ultimate Blood Bowl edition! 12 new playable races join the 8 races already available in the 2009 edition. Blood Bowl fans will thus find all their favourite races from the original board game. Undeads, Amazons, Ogres and 9 other races enter Blood Bowl's tournaments. All 20 races have their personal style, tactics and unique skills which give each game a diversity rarely seen in a strategy game.

There will be also new, more impressive stadiums to welcome all these new teams. From the snowy Norse stadium to the creepy interior of a crypt, the change of scenery is guaranteed.

A new Story mode is introduced, in which players will play as a freelance coach. They will have to lead several famous teams and take up many challenges through a story revealing the origins of Blood Bowl, the Old World and its many races that relentlessly compete with each other in merciless games. A newly scripted tutorial will teach all new comers everything they need to know about coaching a Blood Bowl team!

Of course, in order to stay as close as possible to the official rules, many additions and updates have been made to better match the latest Living Rulebook edition, used in all official board games official tournaments.

If this is true i may actually consider buying the game. Having just been to the Bloodbowl GT at WW last month, i can happily advise anyone even thinking of getting into the game to give it a go. The entire tournament had zero asshats and they even bring you beer to your board if you ask nicely

Been to the BB game website and the new races / edition is advertised there so looks like it is genuine. I want to know if people who already bought the game get access to the new races - would suck if they took a dump on all their existing players.

I'll buy it if they've tinkered with the settings.

In the real-time campaign mode, games take ages and the AI is terrible. Eventually, I get bored of spending 45 minutes playing one game and finishing with a score of 12-1.

I can not wait until the release. I love the pc game. so much that it has inspired me and my gaming group to start collecting the board game agian after a 12 year hiatus. We especially like the fact that its very true to the board game.Its my new favoritevideo strategy game behind c nc generals.cyanide studios did a very excellent job. Alot better than mark of chaos.

This game is awesome and even though I already bought the current version I will be picking this one up as well. I bought this and DOW 2 at the same time and BB by far gets more play then DOW 2.

I hope they fix the numerous, numerous bugs from the "classic" game mode, as well as remove some of the more onerous design decisions that altered the basic game. I always find it strange that when a classic board game is made into a computer game, they feel the need to change the rules and not make it optional. Really?

Amen to that noise, talk about a missed opportunity. I dunno what "genius" left the obvious LIVE possibilities out of the game. It's the ONLY thing about the game that TRULY sucks.

The terrible matching system for online play kept me from playing it very long.

Would just sit there churning on looking for an auto match or telling me my opponent was unreachable.

I think it was because their game engine can't handle Centaurs.

This annoyed me at first but then I realised that the game wouldnt even be interesting without it....since the AI is a BB NOOB.

Probably a better solution than, y'know, making a good game.

I see it this way. The comedy Chaos dwarfs are not liked by GW because the want to promote the new stylish Chaos Dwarfs for fantasy (maybe in the future). Sure Blood Bowl is another Warhammer Dimension, but still, images tend to stick...
