If you are selling them, I think there could be a market for female torso's that are compatible with GW plastic guard kits.

This project is meant to be for my own personal army.
But i am going to craft a permanent mold, ( Easier to produce an army )

First Concept(s) ( Almost done ), then greens and sculptures, then follows moldmaking and a small production run.
Then we want to have a few models trimmed, primed, painted and based. ( I'l post pics of every state of new development. )

After that we can always think about that option.
Just follow this thread to remain informed.

Good concept and I like that first prototype model, can't wait to see more pics in the future.

But as a big mek I mist demand that there be plenty o dakka in this army.

I have a fairly all round IG army. ( 125 Infantry models, 12 tanks and 8 Sentinels )

Thinking about turning the Cammians into an Close range firing army as Veterans.
Shotguns only with Flamers/H-Flamers, Grenade Launchers and Meltaguns to assist.
Mounted in either a Vendetta or a Valkyrie. The rest in Chimeras.

I think its a good way to add to my existing IG army and keep it special.
And with Shotguns, theyre would be allot of Dakka ^^

Its just a tought. Maybe i'l think any something else in the meantime.

I am proud to introduce that Alex has been busy the past 24 hours.......

And here are some results! ( So soon? Yes, so soon. Love that guy )

First, 2 Helmeted heads. One with tracker, and one with shades.



Then follows the Torso.



And ofcourse, what would the head and torso be, without some nice long legs.



I am also proud to say, that we made a planning for new parts.
I'l be exspecting 2-4 more legs, all different. And another 3-4 heads.
As a first project, and a dry run. We dont want to get to ahead of ourselfs.

I am already considdering what kind of mold i should craft, and if i am going to use resin. Or just leftover sprues/plastic.
Anyway, it will be another day or two for more updates, but please state youre opinion about these now.

Project looks great and very promising. But I'd imagine a rubber mold to make resin cast would be your best option. You could also submit your project to Troll Forged.

Another Pic of the torso and Legs stuck together as a try and see if its fits.
I think its working well. Next we will try to get it arms and a head on.

Woohoo! Finally someone seroius about guardswomen!!! The sculpts are very nice, congrats to your friend Alex (from Alex). I would love to see some unhelmeted heads too, that would be great.

The legs are definately my favourite part, very feminine legs, excellent. I personally would love some female guard; I'm considering starting a guard army and would love to have a female officer/sergeant/vet or three.

In the world, we have about a 50-50 rate of women vs men. In miniatures games its more like 90-10
( Discounting Elves as being a race with two genders, i kind of regard then as both at the same time )

Personally I would tone down the bust somewhat. The legs and heads look good, but the torso is in danger of looking like a caricature. Best of luck though.

are these the finished product? or are these pre detailing?

Theyre will be some small additions in the future, but they are 90%
done at this stage. Mainly straightening, and going to make them more neat.

As it says, these are the first greens, end product is not to be revealed yet.
I am already talking to Alex about the bust. ( My toughts went to it to,
but when i saw a the first fit, i was thinking it looked not so big to me. )
Maybe do something with it, so its iether more curvy. Or a small emblem or anything.

I'l post pics if anything changes.

I have to agree with Dreadnote. The legs look great, but the the bodies look really odd with the massive bust. As has been mentioned in other threads, when a woman wears armour, the bust isn't actually very noticeable thanks to all the padding, webbing and pockets

We'll I like the idea of women soldiers in IG. Another idea when the breasts are concerned,is that you could try to model just a simple undershirt no sleeves like catachans.

Looking good, but I have to second Dreadnote about the bust.

Looking at females in modern arms and armour do show much more subtle differances to the males. I would suggest that the GW torso chest peice would be the same size [assuming they are both Flak armoured] with the sternum also similarly armoued but then tapering to a slimmer waist/hips.

The heads/faces are really good though. Look forward to seeing more.

I would kill to get my hands on a set of those head from the Phoenix Club.

I think a small exaggeration is needed in the hips and rear in order to further 'feminize' the model like the Phoenix club did with their models.

Personally, i like this one more. Its a bit plain, but fot of becoming an officer.

We will be showing new Legs ( 2 more ) heads, and there will be a comparison shot
with some quick fits of the models. And i have come the the conclusion that i am going to sprue
them up. Creating a permanent messing (Dont know if its the proper term in English, but its yellow copper)
mold and i am stil considdering plastic or resin. Plastic would reduce costs, and help me increase production.
But resin would leave sharper details.
What would you guys think?

Dang, checked this morning and there were greens. Now this evening, more greens! That is some fast production.

I think the second torso (the...flatter...one) is great, much more realistic than the first.

At this rate there will be an amazing army in no time.

just more great green stuff work. Good to see progress on such good conversion armies

I have to agree,

From a professional sculpting and design standpoint the "bust" are a bit exagerated. Believe me, I have had female sculpts done and that is always where people are the most critical. While the armor should be different then male armor, it shouldnt be over exagerated like that.

You are right that the hips and rear-end need to be a little wider.

I would love to work with you on this project or hire you and Alex on to do seperate female sculpts.
