Take a look at the bases of the buildings. They're identical and unless my eyes deceive me... plastic. Might we see these released as bases for GW's Imperial buildings? Time will tell I suppose.

Always a possibility I suppose, given the current propensity for hiding things in plain sight, but it could just be short run resin stuff for the studio?
Time will tell I guess.

Can't really see enough of them to tell that they're identical... the detail on each of them is certainly different.
The floors themselves look to be either plasticard layered over MDF, or just laser-cut MDF. The edges are too straight to be plastic... the CoD stuff all has slightly tapered edges for easier mould removal.
I'm a fan of the 1/4" tiles they make and will continue with them until I find something better and cheaper. The problem with GW is they'll make it as good as Evergreen and charge 3x as much.

I just use the warhammer movement trays with the square grid on them as flooring (over plastic or foam core). A $13 investment to floor my imperial sector seemed good enough.
