Vote and debate which Chapter is the best!

Fine, i'll start... I like the Ultramarines cause there like the founding fathers of almost all the Space Marines

I personally prefer Raven Guard because they embody the stealth-infiltrating-ninja aspect that I love.

Nothing says "drunken space vikings" like the sons of Russ, I find.

My favorite are the robot space marines.

Unlike other Space Marines the Robot Space Marines like to kill everyone because they're mean and have skulls for heads. They have Magic Space Guns that can kill anyone. They also have super powers like Wolverine's Mutant Healing Factor but for Robots. It's called "I'll Be Back" That's a cool name. Someone should use that line in a movie. They also have unkillable Space Gods who like to hang out with them and kill everyone instead of just eating the sun which would kill everyone faster but would make a boring game. It's OK for them to have Space Gods who can eat suns but it is not OK to make rules for the Emperor or the Primarchs because they?re too powerful. They also have flying Space Houses that kill everyone and can't die. And they're very (x2) easy to paint too.

Space wolves cause the inquisition was all break up lol. And they were all no thanks chief We're gonna stay together and keep fighting Chaos like the all father would have wanted.

I just like DA because of all the dark and gothic tones of the army.

Per the poll, Ultramarines; not so much as an opinion, but the fact that its written into the fluff. They ARE the best, as a matter of 'reality' not opinion

While I like the Ultras, my personal hard on for a space marine chapter is the Iron Snakes.

It's got to be the mighty sons of Russ. After all, they are the chapter that is willing to sacrifice seats in their land raiders and drop pods to insure that there is victory ale on the battlefield. Yeah, they're that hard core.

Ultramarines are boring.

I agree with this man. Iron Hands are some of the best marines, to bad they get so little love. Salamanders would have to be on my list, only because its rumored to have father the Black Dragons.

other than that Dark Angels all the way.

Iron hands are my favorite. Want to see more models for them some day. No other loyalist founding chapter is so unsupported model-wise.

No, I obviously mean the Robot Space Marines.

Codex: Shiny Marines.

Unlike other Space Marines, the Shiny Space Marines, really, really hate the Space Demons. They want to hunt the demons and kill them their Pointy Sticks and special magic Guns of Space Demon Killing. Unlike other Space Marines they are very (x2) rare which is why you can only have fifty (50) of them in your army.

Mentor Legion.

I chose the Blood Angels. I am a Black Templar player but the BA represent that codex chapter that is not perfect. Their flaw is what separates them from most at least for me.

Iron Hands, Doom Eagles or Soul Drinkers.

As far as I know, Kid Kyoto does 'em, if you look in his signature you'll get some examples, otherwise I'd ask him. Nicely. Maybe with a cherry on top. Or two.


As far as best Space Marine chapters goes, opinion doesn't decide best, it decides favourite. Also, there is only the majority of the legions and a couple of 2nd founding chapters there which means you'll struggle to get a good representation. Thirdly, the fluff apparently states ultramarines to be, they'll also generally regarded as the most commonly played chapter - them or Space Wolves.


Any ways, my opinion is that Space Wolves are my favourite chapter, although I like the fluff of the Dark Angels, particularly HH, however their heads are way too far up their own buttocks for my liking. I agree that the Iron Hands are a really good chapter but suffer from a lack of love. Finally, I personally dislike the Salamanders due to how much love they're getting due to Vulkan's rules, a similar story goes to the Blood Angels, due to their new codex rather than their other-wise OK fluff.

DA for the fact that they were the first founded Legion, have the best terminators, awesome bikers and landspeeder squadrons, and they were bath robes into battle.
