The way the new "discontinued" system works is GW keeps shipping stuff out until they run out. The order book says "while supplies last" on everything thats being discontinued. So basically they're not going to package anymore and when they're out of current stock its gone.

On the chaos trolls and ogres, are there plans for new ones then? Mostly the chaos trolls, as I had plans for the blighters at some point in the future ...


All this discontinuation is a bit distressing, but thankfully I'm not personally affected by them ... yet! Also, the new templates sound awesome and huge, hopefully made of the smoky plastic of the original 3rd ed. box.

So, no Ogryn box, and the prices will be roughly the same as for the old ones? It is something of a disappointment, since I want another 6 new guys, but not at 17 dollars a head. Might have to convert a third box of Ogre Bulls to meet my planned quota of 18 Ogryns-in-Arms.

I hope they are being re-done, as they are some of the worst models in the current "Beast" range.

The Chaos trolls cannot hold a candle to the Stone and River versions, and the Ogres? You're better off converting from the plastic Ogre set...

*shakes head* I swear I cant understand how GW stays in busniess.......for the 3 for 2 special I can see it....but come on...lord on eth bull, the vostroyans and others.....?

Ok, part 2 of dumb question:

If said bag of jump packs is not already discontinued, where would I find such a listing to buy them? I need several jump packs, and a bag of them may just suit me.

You should be able to bug your FLGS owner and they should be able to get some in.  They were "while supplies last" last order book so I guess they have a lot of supplies.

Mozart, if you can't find a jump pack bag locally, lemme know in PM. I know one of the stores near me has some.

Someone want to explain to me why if the 10-CSM box is $30 why the 5-CSM box is $20. Shouldn't it be $15?

Perhaps the 5-CSM box comes with an upgrade sprue?  So 1 sprue to make 5 CSM + 1 sprue with special weapons and champion bits = 2 sprues.  The 10-CSM box would then have the same contents as the 5-CSM box plus an additional sprue to make 5 more CSM.  So 2 sprues vs 3.  Or maybe you're right and it's just slowed.

I am quite curious about these urban roads and craters. More so about the roads, not so much about the craters.

Those slipped by unoticed for certain.

Anyone know the contents of the basing kit? It'd be awesome if it is a second run of the COD kit.

I cannot believe this would be the case.  Not jacking the price for 5 termies up to $50 like they did for the new loyalist plastics?  Not jumping the re-cut basic trooper box from $25 to $35 like all the others?

I thought they stopped producing your ass because they're coming out with a plastic version early next year...
