I've always thought it was a rubbish figure.. Almost as bad as the Ragnar Blackmane sculpt.
So yes, absolutely needs a resculpt.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor. |

Yeah Abbadon needs a resculpt, and badly. He's small, unimpressive, and looks rather poor.

Abbadon needs to be buildable from the plastic Chaos Termie Lord bitz, with minimal additional conversion / bitz effort.

That first conversion.....Wow
I'm surprised how good that character can look. Now he's really threatening. I would like to see that model next to the current Marneus Calgar.
Up Next, we need better Werewolf Vikings in Space characters. Logan is fine, but probably too small as well.

Hmmm sod the Space Wolf Codex, I want Codex:Werewolf Vikings in Space
SW aren't the only ones needing a bit of a remodel.
I would "presume" (possibly a fatal error), that GW would move to plastic for some of the new stuff. Multi part options would be a definite bonus

Yes, Abby needs a resculpt to be huge. Horus-huge. And he needs way more spikes. AND his fluff should be redone too. Saying that he failed to get past Cadia with THIRTEEN Black Crusades over TEN THOUSAND YEARS is just marring his image. Archaon is way more impressive. At least he managed to get something done.
|
People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

A new abby isn't high on the list of stuff I want to see. This is even though the current one is smaller than the new CSM termies.
But really, that's just more reason to fear him. Short people compensate for being short with large amounts of VIOLENCE. And that's not even including the demon sword.
I'd much rather see plastic horrors, plague bearers, and cult troops. After that maybe Dark Eldar ...

Which was what exactly? Get his faced smashed in by Grimgor? Archy didn't even kill Valten.

If Grimgor didn't catch Archy from behind with his pants down, the Storm of Chaos would have been a success.

If Grimgor caught Archy from behind with their pants down, I'll bet Archy wished it was his *face* that got smashed in...

Yes. And yes.
If I'm remembering correctly, Abaddon "might" have been a clone of Horus. Or just someone who looked remarkably similar. But I'm betting that the Warmaster just strategized his way out of child support on that one. In that case, he should be larger than a terminator. I don't think he should be fully Primarch size, unless they feel like beefing him up rules-wise to a demigod, but 40k chaos should at least have an awesome model for our supposed overall leader.
They even resculpted Marneus. Ew.
