I have a 2500 point Night Lords force, I used all the bat helms for commanders and on vehicles. They always reminded me of the bad guy in Beastmaster. That guy was bad ass... up to the point he got raped by a dude in a loin cloth...

Relictors got a push back at the end of 3rd/beginning of 4th with an Index Astartes ruleset, a couple of army profiles and just for having interesting fluff. I started a Relictors army at one point before I just gave up on 4th ed. They'd certainly be an interesting army to do either using Codex SM or Codex CSM (depending on how sinister you want them to feel and whether they've suffered at the hands of the =][= in your timeline yet).

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.
I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil |

They all operate near the Eye of Terror don't they? I imagine even the Inquisition hesitate to stray that close though it sounds from the fluff like they do keep an eye on them.

I would say Scythes of the Emperor. I've always thought they had a very different colour scheme. I've seen one army of them and it was really well put together.

No I'm pretty sure that was exactly what he was going for. Everything about the Angry Marines is deliberate.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money. |

I considered Sons of Antaeus but I'm not really that satisfied with using an Icon of Nurgle as a proxy plus I'm not hugely confident in my ability to sculpt/build true scale marines which would be needed as the Sons are large, even by Astartes standards.

AND angry!
Personally I'm a big fan of the space sharks, the off grey/green and white color scheme looks great when done well and there's plenty of room for customization in the force since bald heads beaks and helmet ridges rule the day. Also with the fluffy overuse of drop pods and the new spehz marinz drop pods it's a force that could actually work quite well.
