No one is holding a gun to your head forcing you to buy anything. The cost of everything is all relative, and what you are willing to spend. A long time ago when I had no money, I almost always compared the cost of everything to what I could buy for my hobbies. It stopped me spending money on a lot of things even more worthless In college though, alcohol always had precedence. It's all perspective.

Hey guys, the price of the Ork Nobs is TOTALLY FAIR. My paintball equipment was like $800 and fencing gear $500 so this is all chump change. Hell my car was $15k. Nevermind the fact that they're totally different things and it might be out of whack for similar products of similar quality.

yeah,
3 plastic boy bikes £20
3 resin nob bikes £52
the price is high fact.
but some people will still pay that. and that's what keeps FW special.
I guess.
you only have to buy one set to be fair, it's a special purchase to treat yourself.
go on you know you want to!

If I had to guess, I'd say that any plastic pieces of the regular bikes are likely to come with the set, like they did for the Arkurion Pattern superheavy tanks.

There is nothing fair about it. It's all in what you are willing to pay. If you are willing to buy them, it's a fair price.
Apples and oranges it may be, but it is still money spent on a HOBBY, not a necessity.
For what I am willing to spend, and how many I would use, they aren't so far out of bounds.

So Toreador, are you saying that all those calculations that beancounters do in order to maximize sales (taking price into account) is worthless? I'm far from being a business major (you guys and your fake maths ) but I thought the market decides if the price really is fair, and not just fair to an individual user. Even for hobby products.

VTech. Last I played was 7 years ago and I did foil. But we'll see what I do now. Since then I've had ~3 years of Aikido and Kenjutsu (not the wimpy Kendo crap where you can only hit from the top/sides of the head) so I might be into slashing with sabers. I'm built more or less like a fridge now so I'll have to work on being more agile.

This pales in comparison to guys willing to spend $7US on Krieg models.

Doesn't matter. FW can't keep up with demand anyway, so why not just charge more money?
I'm glad I held off on buying a venerable dreadnought. That Ultramarine one looks real nice.

Extremely underwhelmed by the Nob Biker. While I cannot claim to be able to model like FW, I will never pay that much money when I can mke my own.

Shame about the price on the Bikers might ave been tempted otherwise. Are there any other pictures/ Might consider using one of the other 2 for an Ork Warlord on Bike. The Chaos lord is ace and the Dreadnaught is good but that bikers meh hope the other 2 are better. Also I hope they'll sell them singly.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.
