If you like fluff so much, why not just make your own custom tank? Unless you play in tourneys or play with a really strict gaming group, you could easily make a custom tank. That's what I did for my khorne baneblade - it's possessed and made of flesh, metal and bones. Took me 6 hours total to finish building it and it's about 1/3 painted. 750 points of doom that can kill a warlord in one turn, or just 2-3 warhounds.
I've actually thought about that, and making a massive kitbash... rocking out with a pair of volcano cannons, 2 vmb turrets, 3 earthshakers, 3 demolisher cannons, a pair of LR turrets, 6 180* sponsons (TL autocannons or lascannons), and that's just what's mounted on turrets and hardpoints, and, to top it all off, void shields...
It's actually meant to have squads of guardsmen/CSMs hanging out on top of it, as well, just to add to the ungodly mayhem.
The original design called for a pair of Land raiders for the rear drive, a pair of rhinos for the front drive, and a modified baneblade hull for the main body, but I decided that the outcome would still be a bit weedy for what i'm going for.

Wait...5 tanks put together is 'too weedy'? Is this thing meant to be a 3k pts tank twice the size of a leviathan or something? Where did you get this idea?

What should I fill those last two slots with?

Well, depends on if you want troop capacity or not. it looks like you are going for no troops, so I'd say a Stormsword and either the Fortress of Arrogance or the Iron Saint(WD351) with you're own names and background, of course.

I think he's being a sneaky git and telling us some more new Apocalypse Goodies are coming in next month's rag.

Actually, the original idea came after reading one of the Gaunt's Ghosts novels (the one where Verunhive falls, damned if I can remember what the title is at the moment...), and getting a mental image of one of their uber-massive command tanks just lumbering along. So, after that, the gears start turning. Next stop was FW, looking at the superheavies they had there. I skimmed through, looking to see if I could find any inspiration with their stuff, and saw the Arkuron pattern Shadowsword. I had read the profille for the Volcano cannon in IA1, and then proceded to reason that if a big, killy, titan-eating gun is good on a fixed mount, imagine how undeniably awesome it would be on a turret, and how nifty it would be with something that could deal with anything that came near it... and how big the body would have to be, hence the 5 tank amalgamation. so the original design called for the rhinos and LRs, but after looking at the plastic Baneblade kit, I thought the aesthetics were all wrong, so I put the idea on the backburner for a while, until I saw that they're releasing the big "make any fixed-mount shadowsword variant you want" kit, then it hit me: Use these things to build it, and just scratchbuild the central hull.
Project stuff aside, the fluff was basically that my Chaos lord, after entering a pact with the dark mechanicum, started scouring worlds that had been devastated by war, collecting the battlefield scraps and using them to make his own mobile command fortress that could break the backs of any that would dare to oppose him, or be dumb enough to try to defend themselves against his invading army. In order to meet the insane power demands, it's Demonically Possessed, and it serves to be a psychological advantage, as well as a gross excess of firepower that is useful in sieges and point defence roles.

A question for the tread-heads with more super heavy experience. Will this new kit compliment the Baneblade and/or Hellhammer, or largely replace one/both of them? In my limited experience with super heavies, the Baneblade seemed scary, but the new ones seem scarier. Without more Apocalypse experience I find it hard to imagine how the different variants would play.
Order of the Ebon Chalice, 2,624pts
Officio Assassinorum, 570pts
Hive Fleet Viracocha, 3,673pts
562pts
The Baneblade is awesome for having a good 10" pie plate *and* a Demolisher cannon. It's flexible and hard-hitting.
The big innovation, IMO, is the Transport capability in the new kit. Especially for Guard who have rather iffy Transport in Apoc, but need good Transport.
