They are old eldar powerfists from forever ago.

I wasnt too focused today so I just piddled around on a bit of everything. Cleaned the display board up, basecoated the wraithguard. Basecoated the harlies and then decided to drop them for 6 bikes with 2 cannons. I just feel that is better with this list. I just dont feel 6 harlies is enough to make it worth it. 6 bikes though can turboboost, contest, and is yet another 6 st. 6 shots per turn. So building the bikes took up this evening.

The warlocks are 90% done i was just too lazy to finish them up for a picture.

Very good work - could I ask for some close up photos on the shading highlighting, and perhaps a step by step?

Also, did you use an airbrush for the Wraithlord heads? If not, that is some very good blending.

Is this a commission project? Sorry if you mentioned it already. I get some commission work offers every now and then, but don't intend to do any and would be happy to forward them to you.

This is not a commission though, this is my army for Adpeticon.

Today I painted the bikes to about 50% and the 20 guard are fully done with the whites. Still didnt feel like basing the warlocks but if tomorrow looks like it will pas again with no pics I will. I have a bad habit of doing 10 things at once, and that doesnt work well in blog format I know

Those are truly some of the most elegantly done Eldar I've ever seen. Those are truly awesome. Keep up the great work.

Got the bikes painted today. Pics are crappy but I was running out the door, so they are good enough for now.

Can you get us a picture of bikes from side, specifically the dash and area between rider legs.

Great work. My thought on dirty bikes, as I'm in middle of jetbike project. Eldar come off as an elegant race, but they are in battle and being clean isn't always possible. I like.

Did you greenstuff the torsos? Or just remove head and put better guardian head on original bike torso?

The heads are just replaced. I dont like the stock biker heads.

Finally based the warlocks. Im going to have to reshoot half this army because the pics are coming out bad. Part of it is Im taking pics at night under the florescents when I finish stuff. Maybe I will take new pics of the whole army on Thursday morning...

On a brighter note the WG are coming along very well. I was kinda worried about them, and its why they are second to last, but they are looking sweet.

The rust is reaper brown/oranges and dry mig pigments, using lots of different techniques.

Well i have to hand it you mate, these are simply breathtaking the poses the paint work just great !

GMM, every time I come to this thread and look, I'm in awe of your flawless blending and weathering. Your work is very pleasing to the eye.

Painted the inside of the display board today so I took a few pics. They're pretty bad since it was dark out and it of course doesnt fit in the light box, so I had to go with the ceiling florescents.











I put all the models on it to see what it would look like, even though the WG arent done yet, but it looks pretty sweet!

Quite amazing work. I really like the rust and snow together with the light blue, something you see often but it is really effective with these eldar.

Gorgeous display base. The main three colours (rust, blue, and white) really set each other off, and there's a lot of cinematic contrast that makes the base visually exciting.

The blue is the best, I think. Is the graffiti freehand?

ok I may of missed it but why are the eldar all rusted up???? it looks great i just dont get the back story or fluff. if you stated this i'm sorry just didnt see it (i may be blind or blonde
