You don't care if Rhinoes get shaken or stunned. It doesn't matter. Ignoring that fact doesn't make them get wrecked or destroyed any less easily. That being said, never take a Rhino upgrade unless it's an additional TL bolter for the extra Weapon Destroyed result. The DP vs Sorc debate just comes down to having your Lasher in a squad or an independent target, that's it. Take your preference. Edit: And for anyone saying that Land Raiders will be a problem, they won't. Simply put, they cost way too much in a Chaos List and can only kill 3-5 things a turn, max, with good rolls. 3 Oblitz can more than out-kill a Chaos LR.

(yet another) quick reply before I run out of the house.
Changes and number crunching: (Now to think how to model them within the Adeptus Mechanicus...)
- 3 Obliterators
- Daemonic Possession on 3 Rhinos
+ Vindicator with Daemonic Possession
+ 5 Noise Marines, 4 Sonic Blasters, Champion with Doom Siren
+ Rhino for Noise Marine Squad.
= 1848 points

True.
The DP vs Sorc debate just comes down to having your Lasher in a squad or an independent target, that's it. Take your preference.
If the Sorcerer hides in a squad then he has to shoot (lash) the unit the unit is shooting and this goes simultaneously. First moving the unit via the lash and then shooting is not possible.

In a competitive environment one option will be better than the other, so a descision should be reached.

Vindicators are worse than oblits. For the same points cost you get worse anti-horde and worse anti-tank. They are better at killing nobbikers but that isnt a matchup that dual lash has problems with. dropping the demonic possession is a good idea though.

I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live? |

I agree - drop dp on the rhinos and add a 3 man termicide squad. I have no issue with 9 oblits, in this list redundancy is a good thing, and they will be focusing on the princes and oblits, so your limited number of troops will be less of an issue.

I'd take the extra 100 points and get a lessor deamon squad that can be summoned near an objective.
Oh and guess what, by fielding this list you are a little bit of TFG

eh, going to a tournament with a highly competetive list doesn't make him TFG. What would make him TFG would be if he is a complete ass to his opponent and generally not fun to be around while gaming. Really bringing a strong list ins't what makes TFG, its bringing a strong list AND being a dick/jerk/asshat/insert derogatory comment here to the other player.

too tired to write much but,
@asugradinwa & Matt Varnish:
Being a TFG doesnt mean you have to have a competitive list. Or even win. Same goes with playing a strong, hard, list. Just because the army is tough as nails doesn't mean the player is an arsehat.
The TFG at our store doesnt win tournys. He's a TFG. Arguements over defliler legs not being "hull", men deploying from rhino's and making it into terrian 4 inches away, squads of 10 not hidden by rhino's but he claims are all out of TLOS anyway. Playing a game which he puts no money or effort into. "Conversions" being greenstuff blobs on bolters, instant Plasma no wait, sonic blasters, no wait, flamers, no wait... He's the guy, who at our Mega battle brought in his Termies via our SM Teleport Homer on our Scouts. He's 35ish, and just a d*ck. Every game is an arguement. He plays CSM, (says he plays SM too, but never seen anything for it...) and never has he even brought ANYTHING like this list. He's just a TFG.
Bringing a hard list, after years of slogging away with guard isn't being a TFG. Converting the entire army into an Adeptus Mechanicus theme to play this dual lash on the "good" side isn't being a TFG. Puting time and effort into the painting, greenstuffing, and ID cards isn't being a TFG. (Yes, this army has ID cards. JUST incase my opponent can't figure out that the preatorian servitor who's on a Termi sized base and who's bristling with all sorts of different weapons, they have a card that shows preatorian servitor picture = obliterator picture. + Stat line)
This is all designed to be a good looking, well put together, hard, unique army that has the ability to win back my $15 entry fee.
The two guys who DO regularly win at our store, both play hard lists. Neither of them are TFG's in my opinion.

@H.B.M.C.:
The Prince vs Sorc thought came up, a bit of waffling about it, but with the agreement of some others, figure I'll stick with Prince. Even so, the Sorc wasn't an idea I would of come up with alone, and so thankful that it WAS suggested, even if ultimatly not taken. The removal of Possession, Dozer Blades, and extra twin-linked bolter were all suggestions, and upon discussion and thought, agree'd with and the list was changed.
Finally, two people post that by making a dual lash list I myself am a TFG..... I defend that I'm not, that building and playing a list with the intention to win a local tourny does not make me a defacto TFG.
To answer your question H.B.M.C.:
I don't know, because I HAVE taken people suggestions, and am thankful for their insight and time to suggest things to this list that I myself hadn't thought of. Matt Varnish and asugradinwa on the otherhand didn't critique the list so much as make character assumptions. So with that small difference, yes, I'm fully okay not listening to their thoughts.

These sort of Lash lists are VERY hard to deal with.
...as a warning, if there are not any TOP level gamers at your locale either able to deal with this sort of list or at least toting simalarly 'hard' lists, you WILL be labeled TFG.
Quite frankly, I dont see what the fascination is with building this sort of army. Its not like you're really doing anyting original or you came up with the idea yourself....you're only copying what you heard is powerful. It's a REALLY easy way to get bored with an army. Ever heard the phrase "monkey see...monkey do"...you just joined the club with this Lash list.
I passed this by, I also passed Nob Bikers by when I saw how effective they were last tournement season. I was REALLY interested in building a Nob Biker list, but after seeing how easy it is to win with (except against Lash lists such as this) I've got no interest.
I mean, where is the challenge in piloting this army...really? Where is the challenge. All this list does is SCREAM "I want to win!" Thats all. If that's what you're going for, then cool...enjoy your best general award/store credit/whatever...I just dont see it as fun, but thats just me. I get MY fun in this game from BEATING lists that abuse "the flavor of the week" with so-called "lesser armies/combo's"...THAT's fun! Its a challenge, its more satisfying, and its doable considering that so many people will build a list like this after they hear how great it is. Funny thing is...better players frequently come out on top anyway.
(course, when a player better than me PILOTS lists like this, well, at least my death is quick. )
