The two minis that I had painted for me by BLARGAG!!! are in the mail, so I should be putting up more pics very soon

I think this is a great idea! It seems like there are a lot of options that are either cheaper or similarly priced to getting GW's inquisitor models. If I add to my warband I will probably get some from different sources, and convert them a little bit . I'd love to see Ogres used for Inquisitor!
Edit: Also, when the Conclave is back up I will see if I can find someone near me to play against!

The problem is that although a few of us do hang out here, Inquisitor players are fairly few on the ground and so most tend to congregate over at The Conclave where we can be with our own kind.
I'm more than happy to discuss the game here - but it's likely to be a discussion with only a few participants...

I always liked the models from =I=, but when I found out they were so large my interest waned.
I really like smaller games. It feels more like the role playing games I use to play.
Fewer models means cost is lower and transportation is less of an issue, but then they are so big. They don't fit in with the rest of my figures.
... make a good giant conversion though, hadn't thought of that... I'll have to give the big guys another look over.
Not having very many people to hold games with, however, I have become much more interested in the hobby, using the army list rules more as a guild than a goal.

So? Is that a big issue? Does it matter that your Inquisitor models don't fit with the rest of your collection? My Blood Bowl miniatures might be the same scale as my 40k models - but they hardly fit. Even Necromunda models don't really 'fit' with 40k models, the same with Mordheim and Fantasy Battle models.
There are some big advantages to the larger scale - not least that the models look very cool. And if nothing else they make great display pieces...

Yes, it does matter to me. For what I can afford, I want a collection that looks good together.
I really like some of the figures from the inquisitor line, but they are too big for me to use or showcase with the rest of my figures.
As for fitting aesthetically with figures from other games: I am collecting and painting the mini's I want, the way I want them. So for my collection, all of the figures will fit with the other figures. Just because that's where I'm at with it right now.
It may not hold true for ever. But I don't think the price difference between one =I= figure and a box of 40K or fantasy figures will vary wildly.
Maybe I'll have the opportunity to pick up a Devlin figure some time soon, but I'm not going to take it if it's not a steal because my wallets thin and I've got other plans on the front burners.
I think your name sake figures are awesome by the way. Automatically Appended Next Post: ps: I also have limited space, so the smaller the figure, the more figures I can have ;~)

Thanks, glad you like my characters.
EBay is a good source of cheap Inquisitor figures - I've picked up a few from there for less than a quarter of the retail price. Alternatively, if you're interested in the game but prefer 28mm you might like to check out some of the Inq28 threads - Molotov is doing some nice work in that field over at the Conclave & Warseer.
