Unless GW has lost their minds and gotten rid of the mold it is still "available", but you are going to really have to cause a fuss to get more made. Threaten the right nut, and the left nut will be afraid, VERY AFRAID!

They'd have to be stupid not to keep selling them if they sold out so quickly. Obviously the demand is there, and it seems wasteful like you said to make the molds for one production run and then trash them.

after reading this thread yesterday I thought I'd see if my local GW had any. I picked up a box no probs. It was the only one on the shelf so I dont know if they had more stock.

I can understand the OP frustrations but looking at these things I dont think you're missing much.

My local GW, as of this morning, still had two on the shelves, and two out back. I'd be happy to procure these for people who send the cash through, without turning to ripping peeps off. I am surprised at this kind of problem.
I was at the Chicago Battle Bunker two Sundays ago (July 5th) and they had a stack of 10 of these.
I guess pre paying is not enough to hold your stuff with GW anymore.

Like MDG I was able to find a box at my GW, and after reading this thread decided to pick it up. If anyone wants it drop me a PM, if not I'm sure I can have fun with it.

This is just demoralizing to read.

GW needs to think about the presidence this will set. Customers preorder AND prepay and don't receive the product. Only for them to not keep track of preorders and send product to fill retailer orders before presold orders. Complete Fail!

They should full refund and send out credit vouchers for their up!

Seriously though, GW seems to have problems with about half of the company, whereas the other half does it's job. Usually this is the managers plain and simple, but in this situation I think it comes down to how the company is run from the top. Try to talk directly with CEO's about your problem, they are obligated to respond when the situation becomes a flood. If you want this product, guess again because you just aren't going to get it from GW.

Yeah, I'm curious to hear how they handled RedBeard's situation. Did you get a refund or what?

And they did the refund part. Not as if they have ripped anyone off. What they could have done was to call up the nearest GW store (I know, not ideal in the US) and see if they had any they could use to fulfil the order.

This option was thought of but not used because they had so few boxes left scattered around only a few various stores that it was not considered a viable option for filling all of the orders that didn't get filled because of the problem that is the topic of this thread.

In the meantime, there's always eBay, for bid and Buy It Now.

The price on the Buy It Now set has been dropped to $31 and that auction ends today.

The auction for the other Mines marker set is still at a price near the original list price. That ends today too.

But its less than $15 at miniatures by post?
