This is technically racist, and we can have a conversation about what race means, and in turn how racism is a false construct, but no; I was not insulting your heritage. Garret, it's not that hard to understand, I posted the news on top of the first page. There's a group consisting of the families whose children died in a scholl shooting in march. They call themself the Aktionsbündnis Amoklauf Winnenden. They're collecting signatures and stuff to support their goals: no guns in house holds and a ban of "Killergames". Last Saturday they askek the families of a major German city to bring their "Killergames" to them so they could be properly destroyed, because they believe that wihtout violent videogames there would be fewer school shootings.

There were 4 games and none of them landed in that container they intended.
- Small Soldiers for the Gameboy was thrown in as a joke by a guy in his mid 20s.
- Open Arena was actually a gift from the German pirate party which the Aktionsbündnis then threw in themselves.
- GTA and Def Jam for PS2 were bought and thrown in several times by the same kid wearing an Aktionsbündnis-Sweater, so that several TV-stations would have material for they shows that evening.

The pictures of food posted here look vile - and you guys say OUR food sucks! But in a weird way, I kinda wanted to eat some of it.... apart from the BBQ nachos and those fries with minging cheese all over them. Ugh.

The AAW sees this event as a success, because it brought them and the gamers together, so they could talk about the topic.
This, by the way, is total gak. The AAW avoided every kind of contact or discussion with gamers in the last 8 months. They prbably just talk like this now, so they look good in the media.
It is still planned however, that the container will visit other cities.
