I'm with Luna on this. I can do console FPS's with a controller just fine, but mouse and keyboard is the true gentleman's choice.

@Luna: For me, controllers add a bit of realism. What's realistic about being able to move faster than the human body can actually react? With a controller there is a weight to movement that you don't get with PC.

It's true that controllers aren't as precise as mouse and keyboard but guess what, everyone playing CoD:MW2 on an xbox is using a controller so the playing field is even! Besides, head shots are still pretty easy, just aim a bit higher.

With practice, you can get pretty good with controller based fps. My wife, who's never played a PC or console fps until L4D, generally has a higher head shot percentage than I do when we play co-op!

One game comes to minde, Mass Effect. Super horribel game and even worse ending. The most disapointing game to date for my part. And yes I know I will be flamed/purged for this but keep it to yourself!

Ok 5 games I am going to buy.

Fallout 3.

World at War/street fighter.

Halo Wars . . . would be better to rent. But you'll find out, I guess.

In my local games shop it is actually the same price as the normal version, but it has loads of extra DLC with it too.

You should definetly pick up the Game of the Year Edition for Fallout. It might be a tad more expensive, but the DLC keeps the game fresh.
